I wouldn't have bought something like Knack without the cushion of knowing I could get some money for it later.
Forced digital-only would make me buy less new games.
PS+ makes it a little easier with their timed trials on the full versions of games, but those are few and far between, and with fewer and fewer demos for games, yeah... Forced digital, no demos, and no rentals would mean significantly less buys from me too.
Any thoughts on the likelihood of being able to group/sort PS4 friends at some point? I've added a bunch of people from three different online communities, and there's only so many user names I can remember. It'd be good to look at PA folk under one list, for instance.
Does Warframe get more interesting as it goes on? I did the first 4 or 5 missions and thought it was alright, but a little too easy to intrigue me into playing further. Especially given the tedious periods when I would be stuck waiting for someone else to quit dicking around and come help with a door that requires 2 people to open.
Those doors are my least favorite part of the game.
Difficulty ramps up slightly, then steeply, but you get more mods and weapons and frames to mess around with. The first 5-10 hours can get tedious before you open up a lot more

Also I'm at 96% or so done with the game and I am very, very sad about that.
AC4 might be my GOTY. I recognize that the plot is very disjointed and really not all that great...but I don't even care, I'm so absorbed in the world I've had a hard time pulling away.

I've finally gotten to AC4. Sooooo good.
I am just now digging into the social part of the game. I have marked a royal fleet, and I have found a few community chests, but how do you assist others speed? I have yet to see that.
Oh and I am way glad I ran through killzone and my other games first. I can't see spinning up much else on my PS4.

Ya know, up til this point I've really enjoyed Killzone Shadowfall but I just got to a section called "The Last Stand" and jesus christ...
I must have tried a dozen times now. I last until I can get into the bit turret at the top level, and now I just die. When I respawn, I do so in the turret, and there are enemies already flooding the platform, and I die fairly quickly. I'm seriously at a loss as to how to beat this section, it's brutal.

Do you have grenades? Because in every Killzone I have ever played, Grenades have always been the solution.
Edit: Except for the ending of Killzone 2, where the final boss is most easily beaten with by actually using your knife a copious amount.

Right when I said that I went to play and saw two people's ships that I've not seen before so maybe it worked?

I was warming to the idea of Rivals, but I might hold off. Most of the footage I've seen has people driving alone at high speeds, occasionally dodging a police trap - it's pretty, but seems a bit sparse without friends involved.
Drive Club is a bit of a gamble, but I think I'm just more engaged by good old fashioned circuit racing. And cockpit views.

I was on ustream playroom earlier doing some wotagei practice until my GF's brother complained about the noise. I put my external speaker right next to the camera to drown out the in-game audio since there seems to be no way to mute the in-game audio. I'll probably try to make it a regular thing on Friday/Saturday so people aren't working the next day. Aside from my friend who was there talking about it, comments were... Interesting.
