There was an operation last night for Forma blueprint, I think it may still be going on as it was only starting when I hopped on yesterday.
Once that completes I'll be able to manufacture some for the dojo... I haven't found any at all in-game yet. Really liking the rewards being dolled out for these operations... sure 5 x the same thing is a bit of a grind, but with the update 11 I'm actually loving the grinding (gameplay just seems so much more FLUID now!) so WIN WIN!
Blueprints are consumed when you create an item, so you'll only be able to make 1 forma.

What!
It might be different with mats, but all the weapons I've ever built have had their blueprints disappear from the foundry list upon completion.

Well when I bought the "team ammo regen" gear blueprint, I could manufacture many copies of it... and I think I still have the blueprint. I've never looked back at weapon blueprints I've made, but come to think of it you are correct... I don't think I've seen the option to make those again.
A quick google seems to indicate Forma blueprints are one time uses though. Damn. OK well I guess I will have 1 forma to contribute soon lol
Fuck me the waypoint system in this game is garbage. Just put a fucking marker where I need to be! I'm trying to survive waves of mobs looking for this god damned bit and its frustrating as hell (especially when the game seems to prioritize ammo for weapon types you DON'T have. . .no I don't need more fucking shotgun ammo).
Alright, I kicked everyone who hasn't logged into the game in the last 100 days or more. I may have kicked 1 or 2 whose names started with A (edit: and who had shorter idle times) before I saw just how many long-time inactives we had. We're down to 69 members again, so there's plenty of room for growth, for now.
So, who have we missed for invites since we filled up, can you speak up for our convenience? :-)
Does anyone like the hand to hand combat melee weapons?
Yes, they look pretty cool when you use them.
Sadly they're all single target, so while it's quite satisfying to shoryuken an Ancient, they're... kinda bad for most situations when you'd actually want to use melee. But if you think they look fancy and would like to try them, go for it. They can be fun. And at least the Furax has the most satisfying finisher move in the game in addition to the aforementioned shoryuken.

I want lightning claws in this game, lawsuits be damned.
Save your Platinum for inventory slots when you need them, they're the only thing that's only buyable with Platinum. The other currency is Credits, you get that just playing the game.
A good gun to get is the regular Braton, it's basically just a better version of the MK-1 Braton you start with. It's not fancy but it's effective.
I finally started building a sentinel, going with Shade cause it seems the most useful. Got a Serration too, so I can finally deal decent damage to high level enemies! I really need to farm more Survival missions.

Shade is really nice, but I hate running around with anything that isn't Carrier these days.
Carrier's basically the most generally useful thing you can go for, since shade's cloak really doesn't apply itself constructively in most situations.
Seconding Deans; save your plat for slots. Never use plat on materials or cosmetics if you haven't done your research, which should keep you from buying random things and later raging about it unlike some people in this forum. -.=
Am I the only one that hates Sentinels? I mean, like, I appreciate the things they do and all, but I hate their aesthetic, and wish I could just make them all invisible.

Another reason I like my Dethcube. I understand there are other Sentinels generally considered to be better, but mine doesn't look like a flying booger when it's restoring my shield, protecting me while reviving, or vaporizing trash mobs.
Also... Forma under construction. Should be ready to contribute to the Dojo when I get back from work Tuesday. Any particular preferred direction we're expanding in?

It's less the individual aesthetics and more ... the fact that they exist.
Like we'll be flipping and jumping and doing all kinds of crazy ninja shit, everyone looks wildly different, feel like badass space guyvers (as is proper) and then I see a Sentinel and it completely takes me out of the experience because here is a thing that is quite glaringly a video game trapping. IDK, maybe it's just me.
maybe if the little bugger had a little bit more slop in its flight pathing instead of maintaining its position within .05cm at your side as you kick flip machine gun through a pipe.
little fucker should look like its struggling to keep up with you.

or take a little autonomy and push and fly ahead of you just a little bit to put a flashlight on the control console, door pad, or fleeing VIP, or other objective.
All in all the Sentinels are still fairly new though (at least from my perspective). Considering how eager DE is to overhaul things I wouldn't be surprised if we get a Sentinel 2.0 revamp down the line.

Hurray! Can I get mine voiced by Peter Dinklage?

Seriously? The only thing in this game that screams "video game" to you is the sentinels? Like, for real?
I guess you might mistake the rest of the game for a movie poster if you don't look too closely, the teal and orange spark factory that it is.
For people wanting in the PS4 clan, send me a PM. It's easier for me to have all the requests in a centralized place, where I can double check names easily. You'd know this if you bothered to read the OP :P

I've been revisiting Ash after the revamp.
My basic impression of him in the post-2.0 environment is:
Smoke Screen is Murder.
If enemy footsoldiers were wheat Ash with smoke screen and a pimped out Orthos would be a Combine Harvester.

That's been my impression as well. Too bad Shurikens are weaker now and struggle to fulfill their role of expediently removing annoying pests. Like Ospreys.

I've been getting VERY short bursts of this game in due to pre-holiday time compression (in other words, i'm doing all the things now I should have done weeks ago!) But the day before yesterday I got a Gorgon rifle blueprint. Immediately built it for fun...and holy crap that thing is entirely too much fun to not use when leveling a warframe. Does its usefulness fall off (non-potatoed) later on?
Grabbed it to check it out mainly because they're a local studio, somehow wound up with blue plastic boobs. Feels a little floaty, nothing seems to have the appropriate mass. How is the pay to win aspect? I haven't gotten a good grip on what stuff costs to upgrade - how good or bad is it?
The only thing you can't get without spending real money is weapon/warframe/sentinel slots. You start with 50 free plat so that's 2 more warframe slots for free. Everything else, especially Forma, can be gotten ingame, especially with this new invasion system sometimes giving cash shop items.
They give away an Orokin Reactor or Catalyst after live streams and during their live streams give away platinum to random viewers. You can also get 20%/50%/75% coupons from login rewards.
That said the base prices for platinum are silly high so wait for coupons but you can play without buying too much or any platinum.
If you're mastery rank six Soma is like Gorgon++ besides that it's okay.
Considering I'm only mastery rank 3, I think this'll do for now! It's a fun weapon too, but long range accuracy does suffer with it. Seems perfect with a Rhino Warframe though.

I put the Gorgon on the shelf for a while, but checking it out after damage 2.0 I discover that the Gorgon has its own niche now with its focus on Impact damage (which the Soma has precious little of). So basically it's your big-mag weapon when facing Corpus.
Considering how annoying those little dodgy drones are I think I'm going to use the Gorgon more often.

Nnnnnnno? Because that's not the complaint I have.
I wouldn't really give a toss about it if it felt like it gelled aesthetically and thematically. I just don't feel like Sentinels do that in their current form.

How does I get gud gun?
By which I mean what's the progression in this, if I don't want to buy myself a gold-plated Tenno with spinning rims?
I see I have platinum and some other currency I have no idea what is in the top left corner there.
Either way, this seems pretty awesome, and y'alls should invite me to the Clan so I can hang out in super sweet clubhouse-land
