Panic buttons now can be un-alerted. This means if you've been detected on a ship/planet/location, you can revert the alarms to a neutral state to complete missions with a more 'stealthy' approach.
Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss.
I'm gonna be doing so many neck snapping sneaking runs.
P.S: And yes. it requires you to craft TWO bronco primes to make it.

Ok. Hijack was really easy, but as a game mode it's pretty fun.
...unlike Interception.

I'm betting mission is built for new folks. Maybe can talk some people onto a run with starter guns/frames @ 30 mod points to smite grenier in the name if Science tonight.

Really enjoying this game. The rabbit hole is suuuuper deep. I put one of those blue potatoes on my Karak and my god it is a murderous head shot machine. Finally got a sentinel too - felt pretty scrubby wandering around without one.
So I've got everything I need to make Ember except a control module; googling shows that I need to get to Europa or Neptune before they start dropping. I guess I can also use these keys I've picked up, but I've so far gotten crushed trying to solo even the level 1 keys - is there a way to group up and do these like with normal missions?

1. Activate the key, but do not yet press the "Play now" button.
2. Find people through clan chat or the recruitment chat. Usual MMO lingo. "Hosting (X), LFM. /w me for invite", or something like that.
3. So you have interested individuals? Right-click their names to invite.
4. Press the "Play Now" button once everyone is there.

Thanks guys! I'll hop on vent later today and see what's up. I've got about a half dozen level 1 and 2 keys that need some love.
I'll be around to do the event later today. Tried to solo it earlier with a Loki with Vulkar and Detron. Went about as well as you'd expect.
For control modules, try to get some dudes for a t1 survival. For the short term you should get all the modules you need by the time 15 minutes comes around. If you want to be set for life, get in on a 30 minute run. Mind, 15 min survival is fairly easy if you get in some clan-mates. 30 can be tricky and you might not have too much fun since you'll be doing next to no damage to anything with your weapons. But do a 10-15 run, it's cool.
I solo'd the core escort (escore-t?) last night with a 30 Rhino and slapdash mods. The core took a ton of damage, I guess because I didn't have maxed out shield/regen mods and was ranking a Latron. Got ~100ish event points. It's really super easy since the enemy waves are few and far between. WANT DAT GORGON.
Playing the interception again it's clear why this mode is no fun. In order to cap a point you need to clear it of enemies, slooooowly undo the enemy %, and sloooooowly replace it with your own capture %. Meanwhile all the enemy has to do to capture a point is stick their dick in a console for five seconds and it's theirs. Plus the four points encourage the team to split up, and then one point gets rolled by dual napalms, so two people run over to rez, so you lose two more points, and it just snowballs from there.
I figure the best strat is to sacrifice one point, hold the other three, and assign one person as a floater to reinforce points or rez people as needed.

Interception is really easy. Put your two most reliable tenno on covering two cap spots each. BC and AD. Then the other two are on patrol/rez duty. It is however boring.

It depends on the map, too. One's really spread out, one's really compact, etc
Hmm. I've really only gotten the compact one then.
Anyway, they super-nerfed Accelerated Blast. It now works as all other Puncture mods, ie uselessly.
In other news, with so much new Prime gear coming out I'm super-behind on the Orokin cells. Well, credits too, but mostly orokin cells.

So all you guys who were telling me that the Tower 2 rewards constantly shitting out Orthos Prime BPs was totally not a glitch?

Hello TOGSolid,
Thank you for reporting this bug! The dev team is already aware of this issue and we will have it fixed as soon as possible. We will also be sure to follow up with you if we have any further questions.
To see when this bug gets fixed, please keep an eye on the Update notes posted in the forums:
Interceptions not that hard. On the small map you need one self-sufficient frame to hold C-B (I think. The two in the back that are close together). There's one spawn point on B that needs to be kept in check. If this guy has a long range weapon he can also pour support fire into the tunnel most of the grineer spawn from. The three others hold the other two points.
On the large map you need one guy on C with a sniper/ other long-range weapon to hold it and support the two lower points (A and B I think) by plinking off targets. Two guys holds A and B and the fourth guys runs around and helps where it's needed. Screw D. The runner can cap it when he has nothing better to do.

So, apparently I have discovered a new type of melee MOA. I dunno if anyone has ever seen these before. Seriously though, I don't recall seeing Radial Disarm do this before...

Yeah I don't think I ever claimed Interceptions were hard, just that they were no fun. You take three steps off the point to shoot a guy and some other dude has already ninja'd the node out from under you in the five seconds you were away and now you have to sit through that interminable "neutralizing.... .... .. . . ..... " "capturing. ... .. ..... . ... .. " shit from the beginning again.

"· Fixed a situation where it was possible for a Nekros summoned ally to squad up with enemy AI and take points."
So a Nekros shadow would switch sides??? This seems like an annoying, yet hilarious bug.
Pretty sure enemy radar was seeing this as well. Wasn't uncommon to see a red marker on minimap after summon on other missions. Granted enemy radar has been a little flaky for a week or so.
They should have kept it and made it a mini event of sorts.
"Shadow_of_the_dead_6969 has switched sides. Kill him before he fades for extra affinity!!" :P
On a more serious note, It would be neat if they altered SotD so that if anyone on your team was dead at the time it was cast (no revives or just chose to forfeit) that they came back as a ghost of themselves. Let them wreak havoc for the duration of the ability along with the shadow AIs. . .
Last night I was running an ODD with an Ember prime, Nova, myself as a Necros with a penta, and I forget who the fourth dude was. It was basically a massive, non-stop lightshow of infested death.
At some point I thought the lights flickered... and then again... but I thought "if this was stalker someone would say something, right"? I never saw him spawn and no one ever said anything, but later I noticed I had a Hate bp in my inventory. So apparently he did spawn, but was wiped out before anyone noticed...
It is odd that whoever was marked didn't say anything, but I guess he took a look at our firepower and thought, "eh, why bother". Shame Stalker didn't drop a Dread or a Despair though...
That was with me (Ember), SciJo (Nova), and Weaver (Oberon, I believe he was running?). We mentioned the Stalker on Ventrilo, you just weren't in there with us :P
People (PUGgies, not clannies) were commenting on my Ember yesterday while doing a defense run.
In light of those comments I would like to state;
There is nothing wrong with using shock-pink flames for world of fire and combining it with a radiation Ignis for bright blue-ish torching. I call it my "Flamer of Tzeentch" combo.

I'd just like to state that the Grineer shipyard set is god damn sexy! Standing outside it and looking up is giving me some pretty strong Metroid vibes.
So! This new event doodad. I did the hijack run a few times getting a score of 750ish each time. Is there anything else to do? Or is it just wait for the rewards to rain down next week now?
I will say that the hijack isn't too shabby for control modules, I think I did three runs in total and I got a couple from each one. Pretty good considering how quick it is.

That's pretty much it, from my understanding. This event is pretty short, so there's not a ton to do.

Whee, got the Vauban BP for my login bonus today. Just need a Vauban Chassis alert and I am good to begin construction.
He just never gets old. My vauban and a pair of loki got a few seconds from 50 minutes on T2S last night. Pretty much kept us rolling for that last 20 with just bastile and my pinta o' doom. Both myself and a galentine wielding loki broke 1k kills each. He just stood on the edge of vapture zone and abused the heck out of it. It was glorious.
I know he has other powers but dang if I use them.
I'm not a fan of the design for Vauban but man he's one of my favorite frames to play and I'm the same way; he might as well only have those 2 powers for as much as I use the other ones.
Apparently you can give your secondary weapons to the hostage in rescue missions now.

Well then. The devstream ended on a really interesting note. Apparently there will be more to Tethra's Doom. Vay Hek popped in at the last second, ranting about how we've only been attacking auxiliary ships and so on. Much excite.
Also, the devs talked about other things, like adding a permanent Infested location, tenno being able to get these llama-dog things as sentinel replacements, and other things.
Double Edit: New rewards for Hek's Escalation, c&p'd from the event info page:
- Complete the new Shield Core missions with a score of 1000 or greater and get a QUANTUM BADGE, a brand new type of badge that uses particles!
- Players now have a more challenging mission, and competitive clans can now earn higher scores in this more difficult Hijack Mission.

Yes, Despair are everything you dream they will be.
Nothing better for maintaining a ninja-y loadout without sacrificing strength.
