Vectis may be my new favorite primary, now that my crit build is together. Still hoping for more reload speed mods for rifles, though. Or at least a higher cap on Fast Hands, the max of 30% is just plain dumb.
Had a frustrating crash 25 mins into a corpus survival while collecting oxium ospreys, so I signed off for a while to cool down, but earlier I funded and started research on Akstiletto (PS4) and put some funds into warframe lab projects.

So I randomly got the glaive bp as a login reward yesterday, and it finished cooking today, so I've been playing around with it some... Holy Jesus Lotus this thing is fun to use. I think this may be my favorite melee weapon now.

I suppose it's mostly in the act of throwing it and watching it bounce around and buzzsaw the hell out of some guy's face. Though for what it's worth, I also had fun using the Furax and punching people so hard they literally fell apart, and it's highly unlikely that I'll keep those, so maybe it's just the novelty factor. That being said, so far I still really like the weapon and the idea behind it.

Use the slide attack on the Furax. It makes everything worth it, I promise.
Looks like the scoring model for the Shield Core run is roughly "((Core Health/10)x3)", so to get the 1000p badge the core needs to have 3340 points of health left or more.
The resistance is a lot fiercer in the Shield Core run, with numerous Leaders appearing. So while you get 3 times the points (in theory) you need to really be on your toes and have good gear.
Trinity, Nova, Rhino are all good frames. As is frost (although you need a big bubble to block fire aimed at the core, so Narrow Mind builds won't work. Or in fact be very suitable at all since a bubble is a short term form of protection on a Core run).
As far as weapons go most weapons will not cut it. In the Puggie team I ran with I pretty much had to carry the team with my Soma. The fighting is a combination of mostly long range (under fairly confusing visual conditions) and then occasional short range fights. So a Goalkeeper with Ignis and then 3 long-range powerhouses like Soma/Latron Prime/Burston Prime seems to be ideal. The fighting is generally not suitable to bows (in terms of RoF and the difficulty in placing shots quickly. If you're the Warframe equivalent of Green Arrow, then fine. Go with bows, otherwise leave it at home).
A lot of enemies will come from behind, so having a single guy tailing a bit behind might reduce damage to the core.
Opening doors quickly is another key feature. Note that it's possible to be close enough to be shielddrained by the core from on top of the Keypad ledges on every Door except the very last one. Any door waiting time will lose you a 100 points at least.

Just saying but I did some solid work as a rearguard with a blinged out Vectis. It's much more reliable at the ranges in the event than bows and will take down anything in the event in one shot. With Pierce it becomes even better.
Zephy also worked out well since Tornadoes are long-range CC that can rapidly screw over large groups. A highly leveled Redirection and Fast Recharge obviously helps a lot.
The clan group+1trinity pug I was in yesterday clocked in a 14xx run without any serious issues. But then everyone did splendidly and pulled their weight.
(If anyone wants to do a high score run, I'm sitting on one Shield key and will probably be on after 21.00 GMT+1.)
I think I'll need someone to carry me through it. My Rhino can backstop the core pretty well but in terms of kill potential I don't really have much outside my Nova which I just forma'd.
Wow, what a difference a tricked-out Soma makes. The last couple of times I've run into the Grinyu Force have been on a leveling Ember, with leveling junky weapons. They appeared during an alert just now and I just about shat a brick since I was on a level 3 Mag with something like 240 shields and 120 health. If they so much as glanced in my direction I would have exploded.
Fortunately the (potato'd, level 28) Soma just utterly murderated all three dudes before they knew what was even happening. I had 52% of all damage at the end and that was after a mission of being unable to even shoot at 90% of the mobs because OMGsloframe. They dropped hell's chamber & split chamber, but no parts :[
First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKERS
I find it weird that I haven't even gotten a whiff of the Grinyu Force. I've had stalker murder me (twice) while I was helplessly staring at the Defense "Continue or Quit" screen (Even after they supposedly patched out that problem), I've killed Harvester once, but no Grustrag. Especially since they seem to be the big source of Multishot mods these days, the only area where I'm still lacking (well, I need pathogen rounds as well, but since I have the Toxic/status mod that's not a big problem)
P.S: I NEED Boltor Prime. With each round dealing literally twice the damage of the regular Boltor it deals Soma-like damage. Except it's 100% Grineer specced.

If it makes you feel any better, I fought them on back to back missions yesterday and got nothing but Neurodes each time.

It has been over two weeks since stalker attacked me and about a month on harvester. Only two stalker attacks on party's in last week and a half that I can recall, no harvester or g3 attacks. Tis rather annoying.
P.s. is there some way to get rid of this hellish new moble skin? Its been a week and only seems to get worse.
PS4 peeps: we need a shit load of oxium for Zephyr. 600 for the completed blueprint and 60 each for 2 out of the 3 component blueprints. Best way to get it is Corpus survival.

Ugh, I swear the RNG seed is bugged again. Bunch of runs on Raptor and Nova Helmet or Systems constantly, no Chassis.
Holy shit Marelok is a god-tier weapon. It is the Soma of sidearms. Build it and potato it right the fuck away because it starts out overpowered and only grows more game-breaking as it levels. Mine's only 19 with dinky mods and already it's one-shotting everything on Neptune.
Anybody have good builds for it? I'm assuming status and elemental mods to leverage the huge base status effect chance? It's damage is split between impact and slash so Concussion Rounds/Razor Shot have reduced effectiveness.
First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKERS
I don't get all the rage about Sentinels to begin with. Most of them are crap. Take the Vacuum one and put Sanctuary and those regen mods on it. Some survivability mods on top of that and it won't really get much better.

Now that Ember and Mag are both 30, I'm probably selling Ember back. Mag just seems to have more utility, her ultimate is a similar enough AOE nuke, and she's much less glass cannonny. Just having the shield restore makes her considerably less squishy.
Plus Ember got bolted and like hell I'm spending that much in rare resources to unlock a frame I'm iffy on.

Odd. Because Ember is one of my favorite frames in this game. NOTHING is quite like World on Fire, and Mags ultimate certainly isn't. I'm running my frame with Continuity, Focus and Stretch.

I might recommend keeping her around rather than selling her. Really, I'd suggest that for frames in general.
Also worth noting Ember is really all about her ult. Build the frame around that and everything burns to death.
I'm kinda with zero on mag. World on Fire dosen't reach all that far and MAG has good CC with crush and pull. Shield Polarize just never seems to stop being good on void since it scales with shields too.
That said I'll never get rid of my ember prime, I just always seem to need another frame more for missions.

Mag is amazing. That giant shield pool is so good.
Like I've been leveling Saryn right now and even though it has much better armor and health, I've been downed SO much more than on Mag (or even Nyx). Maybe it's because I'm playing solo a lot but still.
And don't discount Mag's 3 for certain combos. Trivializes Raptor, combos well with Excalibur, etc.
People (PUGgies, not clannies) were commenting on my Ember yesterday while doing a defense run.
In light of those comments I would like to state;
There is nothing wrong with using shock-pink flames for world of fire and combining it with a radiation Ignis for bright blue-ish torching. I call it my "Flamer of Tzeentch" combo.
I've never wanted to play the ember until this very moment right here.
Just got back into this after playing a little in the beta. Using a Valkyr with a Karak, Ballistica, and Dual Zoren. Overall I'm really liking this setup, but I understand that there are better melee weapons for this warframe.

Or maybe the dread. The marelok seems it could be a great companion to bows thanks to it's mid range and hit scan properties.
Plus nekros, my main frame right now, has the best bow animation (and awesome animations in general)
Wait. Is the Paris prime straight better than dread? Maybe I should trade around for that.
I also kinda passed out on the couch so sorry to anyone trying to get my attention.

Currently I have (at least last I checked) four catalysts spare. The current plan with them is:
Marlok
Soma
Hek? (Or any good shotgun)
Then something else. Not entirely sure.
Do sentinels use reactors or catalysts? If it's catalysts I'll probably put one in my collector whenever I get around to building that.
