Getting camped top sucks. Recent top game put me against a jungler / top duo queue where the enemy jungler literally never ganked any other lane. Basically a 1v2 lane except one of the 2 was a Lee Sin who started with red buff. Won the game, still frustrating as fuck. Best to acknowledge suffering benefits team. "Sorry Darius, we got a dragon and tower out of you dying, do what you can and I'll help when I'm able." Real risk is top laner raging or team raging at top laner and throwing away a possible victory.
Loser bans out my top three champions then makes me ADC failjinx just so Ludious can use my tears to fuel a Yasuo gift to him.
This team is evil.

So, I went on a losing streak after I hit gold 3. A decent one(probably under ten losses, but no wins). I was being dumb and drinking while playing, etc etc.
Anyways, decided to play some games. Lost another one, then finally won, 21lp. How in gods name did I not get clamped after that big loss streak, right after getting skipped to gold 3 from 5.

Hate Spike moves slower, and Ravage deals physical damage, which means that it procs Elder Lizard again but doesn't scale with any of your pen AND IT DOESN'T WORK WITH DEATHFIRE GRASP ANYMORE
Yeah, if these nerfs stay, it kinda feels like Riot's sending Eve back to the dumpster with Sion and Poppy until they can either figure out (another) whole new kit for her. I think you could take most of the sting out of her by just upping the radius that players can see her at, but maybe that has other issues.
I think I understand what they wanted out of the Diana skin.. but it really just doesn't look very pretty to me and I think I figured out why.
It's that entire chest piece. The faded light blue/purple shirt looks really out of place and just throws off the flow of the clothing on her arms and legs. In between the dark blue and the purple, it just looks.. boring. I hope it'll grow on me once the particles are all there and it's polished because I love playing Diana and she does deserve a skin that matches a title such as 'Lunar Goddess'. That's all just my opinion, of course.

Best to just sacrifice a goat to be sure though.
The bunny on the zero LP streak knows a thing or two about this MMR business.

To be honest I'm kinda surprised she's not picked up more simply because of the assassin focused stuff we get.
If Soraka heals someone part way through or just after an assassin's burst it'll royally fuck them over.
Lulu and Fiddles are the better anti-assassin supports, though. A 2.5 silence still lets them run or auto-attack while a fear or polymorph don't, and most assassins run some way to counter healing (be that Ignite or being Fizz).
As far as I can tell for this season the optimal jungle play is to only gank one side of the map. If the enemy jungler decides to gank on your side of the map you attempt counter ganks. If the enemy jungler doesn't decide to gank on your side of the map then you ignore what he is doing.
Additionally its generally better to gank bottom since bottom/mid than top/mid. This is both because bottom has more early/mid game objectives but also because assist gold streak means that bottom lane snowballs harder and faster*. And the inability to ward everything all the time means that there will be paths open.
edit: Additionally this also means that blue side has a strong advantage in the game since they have three paths to gank bottom while purple side only has two unless the purple side jungler has a wall hop (assume wraiths is warded)
*basically you're snowballing 2 people instead of 1 person because you also snowball your support.
A side effect of this suggests that strong split pushers should be good top. This is because they can push and then take jungle camps(who will likely be up because the enemy jungle is bottom) and because they're strong at avoiding ganks. So that if the enemy jungle does decide to camp you foolishly you've got the troll power on your side. Spirit of The Ancient Golem might even be a good pickup on them if they're clearing camps often enough
It may be optimal to snowball bot but bot usually is the hardest to gank and actually get a kill. It is often warded.
Often I like putting my pre-6 ganks into top lane to get that lane self sufficient, then focus my energy on our worst matchup. When top is self sufficient even if i'm not able to get any successful ganks in mid or bot I know we at least have a winning lane. And because top is relatively binary (you are winning or you are losing) setting your top ahead pays some real dividends.
Also people that play top tend to be more toxic on average, making them play from behind can pay out in other ways.

Felt bad for the opposing team this game. Had a DC for the first few minutes (who came back strong actually), but their Lee went afk 3/4 of the way through the match. Probably a rage quit, considering the game ended 22/4/29 at 20 minutes, but still. Unfortunate.

I did notice what looked like new Zilean splash on the screen behind Kazmitch when he picked Zilean, unless that was just the Chinese art or something. I think that Shurima event might be coming sooner than later, especially considering that they held off on a lore update for Nasus when they did his visual upgrade. My personal theory is that him, Renekton, and whatever the sand mage winds up being are what Sivir and Cassiopeia found in that tomb.
I may have put way too much thought into this game's dumb lore.

Handily won a 2v1 lane. I got first blood, took the first tower, and I was 5/0 by about 7 minutes in.

Something like three out of five of the games I've played in Ranked in pre-season have been determined by who had the afk guy. Its been a little frustrating.
So after the afk support game, played a game with two afks
Then with a support J4 who immediately threatened to feed unless I joined him in a stupid as all fuck "wait in the bush for level 1 first blood" against a shen/yasuo bot lane, died during it, and then amumu said "well if he's feeding I'm feeding too fuck you all"
I've been finding that sometimes my Q does no damage as Lucian. It seems to happen if I fire it and turn very quickly. The animation and particle effect goes off but it does nothing to the enemy.
