Dazzling Gleam. Whites out the screen while damaging all opponents continuously. Jigglypuff can move and attack during it.

To be honest, I wouldn't want her to be on the roster...but it's been suggested so much that I have become curious what Sakurai could do with her.

Ultimately I'm sure Lucario will be back. Either way it don't bother me since I kind of hated Mewtwo and Lucario in their respective Smash appearances.

Balance changes!

Pic of the day. There are many changes being made to attack and defense options for grabbing edges. In this picture, Link is actually trumping Mario's grab.

Some other changes include:
-Air time and accumulated damage will determine your period of invincibility while hanging on an edge.
-Grab controls will no longer be affected by whether you have above or below 100% damage.

So supposedly there are 'leaked' photos of Palutena floating around this morning. Gaf are going over them trying to find evidence of fakery.

They look pretty good, if they are fake.

To this day we still have no idea what the bottom screen in Smash 3DS looks like, so this "leak" would've been a good place to start.

I agree it's probably fake, but there is pretty good evidence supporting it being real if you look at how they've been dissecting it.

I posted it more for how interesting their investigation is and not so much because I think it's real.

Oh, I've seen the evidence, and I admit it is very compelling. Really if I was less jaded, I'd probably be on board.

Honestly, I would love for it to turn out real, but I just don't expect these things to happen.

Considering how Kid Icarus: Uprising was Sakurai's baby, Palutena seems like a given either way.

If that's a fake, it's certainly an impressive one.

He's actually been quite reluctant about putting "his" characters into Smash because he doesn't want to toot his own horn, so to speak. This is why it took until Brawl to get additional Kirby representatives.

Exactly, being a Sakurai piece of work seems to put things at a disadvantage more than an advantage. I believe he is even said before that the only reason Dedede and MetaKnight were put into Brawl is because he thought it was going to be his last go at the series.

Now, Kid Icarus could go either way. He didn't technically create it, but rather refined the hell out of it. Guy turned Sandstone into Diamond. The question is: Does he feel like it's his, and thus trigger his humbleness, or does he feel like it belongs to someone else?

Sakurai was conservative about his characters until Brawl. Brawl had a ton of Kirby love, particularly in SSE.

Yep. I always thought it was a little odd that the first fight was between Mario and Kirby, and not Mario and... well, just about any of the non-locked characters.

Kirby's six inches high, Olimar is maybe an inch, and Bowser seems to change size every single game he's in.

There may be other things keeping her out, but size isn't one of them.

I was just looking at this picture, and it seems the character models have been improved of late.

I mean, they look really good.

Now i'm watching these Kid Icarus animated shorts and they're adorable

Palutena and Pit have this Princess Bubblegum/Finn dynamic. I love it.

And yeah, it seems like theres all sorts of magic shiz she can do. I wanna see her in this game now.

She would have a pretty awesome style.

And those shorts are awesome, but the best stuff is in Kid Icarus: Uprising. If you ever have the chance to play through it, do it.

She constantly talks to Pit through like a codec type thing only without pulling you out of the game, and the banter between Pit, Palutena, Viridi, and Hades is some of the best and most witty banter ever written.
