Attack edit seems to affect a few things
    Super armor
    Trajectory
    Speed
    Size ( where applicable)

Some of these might make Fludd a bit better but only in Friend play so its not like thatll do you much good.

It also made Kirby breath ice. So elemental properties too.

    Hmm true.

Fludd freezing people it hits would definitely improve it

I think it's a bit of a missed opportunity if they don't let you use the Move Editor to recreate stuff from past games (ie. Mario throwing pills instead of Fireballs, Luigi's original Final Smash, etc.).

Looks like that fairy bottle really was just a regular healing item, I was really hoping it was something that'd be banked until 150%.

That would have been a very interesting mechanic. Kill your enemy without doing over 150% damage because that will trigger an insta-heal back to 0%.

I would love to trade FLUDD out for the old Mario Tornado, complete with a Galaxy-styled flourish. And then bring back the spin jump for his down-aerial smash.

Pic of the day. Here's a very, very new fighter in the upcoming Smash games, Greninja. Greninja's sophisticated moves are extremely fun to use once you get used to how it controls!

    The follow up:

The side special attack Shadow Sneak is a move that makes Greninja suddenly disappear and ambush opponents. If you press and hold the button, Greninja will move a greater distance. Another unique feature is you can move Greninja around freely while charging up.

Notably all of greninjas special attacks in smash are based on his weaker physical move pool

I have to assume its on purpose. Hes fast wont hit hard but he can play mind games and probably super light so he'll die easily

a this translates fairly well into physical protean froiake

I use a physical Greninja. I know he's not as strong, but it's pretty fun to fake people out in Battle Spot (plus Acrobatics packs a mean punch).

Yeah, I mean... special Greninja is definitely stronger, but physical isn't bad - it's still high speed, Protean, with a good attack stat (it's just Greninja has better special attack). Any Greninja setup is squishy though.

Pretty much the only reason I use physical Greninja is because I don't normally imagine ninjas using freeze rays.

Pic of the day. This is the final destination version of Gerudo Valley. No more surprise visits from Koume and Kotake, and the bridge is gone. There are no distractions and there's nowhere to run. And the score that plays in the background is "Gerudo Valley."

You can make most stages turn into a final destination. Depending on the stage, it might be floating in midair or perched on a cliff.

While I appreciate the visual variety, hopefully For Glory mode has more than just Final Destination stages.

They could just as easily create Battlefield-style versions of each stage.

Yeah, I would have been happier if every stage had been made into Battlefield instead, but I appreciate the effort.

For the Glory mode is specifically designed for the 'no items, fox only, final destination' crowd. It was a nice bone he is throwing the tourney peeps.

I thought the competitive scene actually prefers Battlefield, as FD's no-platforms, no-cover setup is skewed towards projectile users.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they like Battlefield and the Animal Crossing stage in Brawl. Though I'm thinking For Glory mode will be dominated by Little Mac since he'll never really have a reason to get in the air, at least considering everything we've seen of him.

Hmm... if Battlefield was stretched out maybe 10-20% I think it would be perfect, but as is it always felt a little narrow (too easy to rush into a projectile user, given the platforms and all)

Yeah, Battlefield might be the "best" stage, but it's not perfect, either. Competitive players like to play on a bunch of stages for that reason. No stage is perfectly fair for all characters.

While Battlefield and the various Final Destinations look good, I'm hoping for a bunch more competitively viable stages in the new game. A few of them already look fine, but there's a few I need to see more of to be sure (like the Pilotwings one).

My favorite stages were the animal crossing stage and FD - if they were going to pick one level for the srs mode, nothing really embodies that concept better than FD, even if it's actually not the most played currently.

Level select for tournaments can get pretty involved. You'd have to constantly update the list of stages available to For Glory, and Nintendo is simply not that dedicated to online play.

Allowing Final Destination and Battlefield would be better, but oh well.

I think it's more that they're not dedicated to the metagame. It's why every play mode in Pokemon, save for 4v4 doubles, is imbalanced.

Outside of using Battlefield as the base instead of Final Destination, I can't really think of a better way Nintendo could have designed the For Glory mode. It sounds pretty well done, and with Namco involved, it might actually be playable!
