@desc I am really bad at taking care of my phone. so uh. @chanus I ate a bit raw and threw some into a skillet for a quick sear. It's got an intense but clean flavor. It's a fantastically firm fish and it looks gorgeous when cooked. @mazzyx good call! I don't have macadamia nuts but I do have almonds that I can work with. baking time in this mother.

@Winky The thing I liked most about Terraria was building stuff. But I think it'll come pretty naturally though if you have a server with a lot of people on I think you're gonna find some homeworld to build the stuff on probably.
Might be time to start looking for a replacement for my s2. Been a great phone but it's not getting any more os updates and it's starting to struggle for app space.
I quite enjoyed Ironclad Tactics, I need to sit down at some point and get all the New Game+ cards. I felt like a got a ton of bang for my buck before they even added the new game+ stuff, and I paid full price for the game. At half? That is a steal.
I think it is a really interesting blend of turn based strategy, real time decision making, and deck building.
Shoot, I think I might have to play it when I get home from work now.

Hey broheim.
How is glorious Nippon? Looking forward to ぼんえんかい?
I hate it when inqui is like "this is a good card game" because then I have to pay attention to it
Well, it's not quiiiite a card game, but it has deckbuilding.
Why I make the distinction is because your cards are divorced from your units in this game. Let's say in my deck of 30 cards I have 1 "armored ironclad" card or whatever.
In most card games to play that unit I would play that card to the field, but in this game when I play that card it just summons the unit and then goes back into my deck. So, going through my deck multiple times I could get multiple armored ironclads out. Which makes deckbuilding REALLY interesting.
Also, I mean, its the civil war with steam powered robots! What is not to like?

So, Darkout is really good, but has some really confusing aspects. Namely, most of it. :P Crafting can become a real chore as you find certain resources are ridiculously rare (Like Iron. It's easier to gather Titanium, a higher tier resource) and crafting some of the consumables can get really tedious.
For example, glowing bullets. To make bullets you need iron, magnesium and sulfur. You cannot find sulfur, you convert tar to sulfur 1:1. Tar is found in pools which you can gather in buckets. 1 bucket of tar is 1 tar. One inventory slot can hold 50 buckets. Usually a pool of tar is about 50 - 100 buckets, but you can find smaller or larger ones.
Anyway, so you spend some time locating 30 buckets of tar and you then head back to your base and use the chem station to convert the tar to 30 sulfur.
Next is magnesium, which is made by converting Scrap Metal. Scrap Metal can only be sourced in ruins and random stashes you find. For a long time I couldn't find any scrap metal. You have to travel pretty far to find the biome ruins are in, and it's pretty dangerous. Anyway, you gather 30 scrap metal and use the Combiner to convert them to 30 Magnesium.
Next is iron, and like I said, it can be hard to find. I am always out of iron. So you travel far enough in the underground caverns to source 30 iron and you use the furnace to convert them to iron bars.
30 iron, sulfur and magnesium creates 300 bullets, or one stack.
Then to convert them to glowing bullets you need those 300 bullets, 30 carbon, 30 glowing crystals (Or light goo jars, which you get access to loooooong before crystal, but are harder to source in quantity). Carbon comes from converting coal, and crystals are actually found in huuuuge abundance deep enough underground, but aren't a big deal to acquire once you have a path down that far.
So all that work for a single stack of bullets. The worst part is all the steps. Crafting sulfur, then crafting magnesium, then crafting iron bars, then crafting bullets, then crafting carbon, then crafting glowing bullets. There is far too much refinement work and it's a massive pain and the crafting UI doesn't allow an easy way to do it. The craftable items are sorted into categories, but there is so much crafting in Darkout that one category can have 20 or 30 items in it. There order is arbitrary, so for each item to craft you click the category it's in (Not always obvious as carbon is a Component, but sulfur is a Resource), scroll down until you find wherever it happens to be, click it, drag the quantity slider and click the craft button. And to make a stack of bullets you have to do that six times.
None of the craftable items that are parts needed to make bullets are findable, only the starting resources (iron ore, coal, tar, etc), so this is an unavoidable process.
And the 'story' of the planet is delivered in an extremely uninteresting way. Poorly written (Or voice acted) logs that are vague and have no connection to the player in any way.
So I think I'm ready to try Starbound (Now that it's no longer on sale, of course).

Inquisitor Thanks, that all sounds right up my alley. Off to Steam.
If we ever happen to be online at the same time we can do the co-op stuff together! Though, the new game+ stuff lets you get the cards that you could only get from co-op before.
