Ever had a Christmas traditionalist snarkily remind you that "Christmas shouldn't just be celebrated for just one day, you should do the twelve days of Christmas, and celebrate through January 5th." No? Maybe that's just me. It doesn't matter though, other than as a jumping off point for the start of (what I hope will be an annual tradition) the Twelve Days of Gamesmas (2013 edition). If you're confused today, well, you'll probably figure it out as this moves along.

Man, if they just priced the Skyrim DLC at 66% off (instead of half) it would be about $15 for all 3, which puts buying all the parts separately at $22.50...more than the LE, but not egregiously so.

You think it's good for business to have two conflicting indicators of when the sale ends? What need is there (seemingly) to monitor countdown timers when the first thing you see on the main page is the sale's end date? I have no doubt that Valve has missed out on their typical last day buying bonanza this time around.
If you find yourself having trouble finding a home for your lonely cards I will gladly keep them warm and provide them friends to grow into a badge with.

Trying to work up indignant rage over the Skyrim Legendary/DLC pricing thing, but really the chances of me not buying a new Elder Scrolls at release is slim to none. The amount of hours I've gotten out of Skyrim has more than justified the extra couple dollars I may have had to spend over the legendary edition for all the goodies.

Honestly, there's no real reason to not have the "regular sale prices" still going on today, since the sale is, ostensibly, still going on. However, it is Valve's choice. I just think it's a bit foolish and will result in them losing some sales. Hell, I know they've lost the sales I was thinking of making on this, the last day. Now, I won't and either will wait until the Spring sale or try and get enough money from cards to purchase something not likely going on sale anytime soon.
Admittedly, that's the thing about the Steam wallet...they already have the money. They are just waiting for me to zero out my credit with them. I'm sure they could care less when that happens.
