Jack squat this time, unless you count cards.
I heartily thank everyone for their gifts, for the warm welcome, and the sense of community. Next time, I'll have to see if I can't get something for some people, but regardless, thank you for everything and I'll be checking in here on this thread from time to time.
At the very least, to let those who gifted me games know what I thought of them. The only one I've actually played is Go Home Dinosaurs. It's cute and kinda-sometimes hard but not in a bad way.

Hey dudes, I need some steam friends. I have two. Especially for Borderlands 2. Add me please? (name in sig)

I am curious about something: How does one get cards from games? I mean, I have apparently the 4 I'm going to get from playing Skyrim, but is the market the only place to get the others?

Hey folks. I'd like to craft one of these badger things.
I need a 3, a 9, and a 10 (regular, I have a foil, but I hear you gotta craft like with like).
I have spares of 7(x2), 6(x2), 5, 4, and 1. Let me know if you need any of that.
There's a new free to play Steam game called "Try to purchase a globe card" The object of the game is to hit refresh on the first page of any globe card in the market and then click Purchase followed by a precision checkbox strike and a confirmation click before any of the cards are already purchased.
BUY BUY REVOLUTION
Wait, your guys' check boxes were getting cleared when you refresh?
Odd. When I finished out my cards this morning, I didn't have this problem.

I am curious about something: How does one get cards from games? I mean, I have apparently the 4 I'm going to get from playing Skyrim, but is the market the only place to get the others?
That or trading.
Basically, it works like this. A given game has X cards - let's use Skyrim. So Skyrim has 8 cards.
While playing it, you will get 4. So half the cards needed for a badge. You can then trade for or buy the cards you need to get to a full set. Once you have, you can then craft the badge. Normal badges have 5 levels. In addition to this, you will rarely (roughly 1% of the time, I think) get a foil card instead of a normal one. Same deal - you either have to buy or trade to get a set, and can craft for a foil badge. There's only one level of these.
Each time you craft, you get a background, an emoticon, and a coupon for another steam game that you don't own (or, during sales, a sale card).
If you don't want to collect, you can sell for fun and profit.
Finally, if you're level 10, for any game which you've gotten every drop for it (so, Skyrim is in this category for you), you can randomly get booster packs. Booster packs contain 3 random cards. You can either sell them, buy them, or unwrap them - your call. Every 10 levels you have increases your chance by 20% (so level 60, for example, has 2x the drop rate of level 10).
This is the first sale where I've participated since my wife and I started taking allowance again. It is probably proof that I should stop taking allowance. If I missed any gifts then I sincerely apologize - I'm not great at sorting my email. Also, I had to alphabetize these lists because I'm a sick, sick man.

PSA to all folks looking to be added to the Steam group, or make Steam friends in the thread:
1. Post a URL link to your Steam profile, preferably in your sig. This makes it way easier to find your profile than trying to search based on a name.
2. If your Steam name differs from your forum name, put something on your Steam profile details like "PA Name: So-and-so". This makes it much easier for folks to tell who you are if you sent them a random friend request.

and @jclast snuck up and stabbed me with Mark Of the Ninja DLC
Lastly, @Jragghen hosted a Total War Grandmaster Collection Giveaway, and the RNG giveth. Now my backlog is in shambles Gameback overfloweth. I love RTS's and this just committed me about 200+ hours and that is if I can get off easy. Thanks again!
You're all a special group of awesome. If I missed anyone, I'm sorry! It's been a rocky end of the year and now both my girl and wife have the Flu and I am SUPER STOKED TO GO HOME AFTER WORK. Did I mention it's their birthdays this weekend too? Yea, will be cancelling those parties after I clean then up.
I stepped away from my desk for a few minutes to get a drink and walk around because work has been hell today, and I come back to 10 Friend Invites!
I don't know why I get so excited when I get to friend someone in my same timezone.
I keep trying to explain to my family back east that they can start watching football at 9am here...

Well, with the profit from my Orb sales, I bought up 3 of the 4 cards I needed from Skyrim. I supposes I'll just have to wait, as I am not going to add $5 into the bin just to get the last one.

I got two 7s and a 5 i could trade. Shoot me an offer on steam if you could do a trade please.
Anyone have 2,3,5 or 6?
I want friends too. I WANT ALL OF THE FRIENDS.
(Also, I'm really bad at it, but I would like people to play Left 4 Dead 2 with...)
I'm loving my Surgeon Simulator background
Me and Scoot have pretty much been tag teaming the game, would be nice to have a full party though.
