So I nanny a pair of 6 year olds and last time I saw them they both had pink eye. Last night, my eyes started hurting and itching and leaking gross things, eventually turning pretty damn pink. This morning I woke up with so much dried up crap in my eyes it was hard to open them. It is new years day and the doctors office is closed. My question is not whether to go to the doctor but whether this is urgent enough to go to emergency or if I should just leave it for today. I know it is very contagious and am being obsessive with hand washing and trying not to touch people.
