I'm so pleased to see this thread still around what with the resurrection of the webcomics thread. I was afraid everyone would be like "Yeah Ronnie!!!" and then go meh... and wonder off. Then I'd be stuck trying to comfort Ronnie and his sad sad eyes.

I presume transcripts of each strip would be needed for that, so unless Ronnie has scripts saved somewhere we need to go through and make those.

He could also get us to do it!

yeah i tried doing the transcript thing once and it was daunting. to do ohnorobot I'd have to find a place for yet another button on my site, and it gets pretty daunting to move stuff around and make it work

Not wanting to do the whole "IT'S LIKE YOU'RE ME!" bit, because I expect most people here identify with things just as much as I do, but what I love about Whomp is that I find it frequently depicts the kinds of anxieties I feel pretty regularly.

This kind of thinking led me to completely shut down Newton Faulkner when he asked if I wanted a photo with him, in a way that I thought was polite refusal at the time, but in hindsight was basically "no chance, loser":
    2013-12-30-Alrational-Fears.jpg
One time, I had a positive fantasy about meeting Weird Al. We exchanged Hawaiian shirts! In my shirt, he looked like he was trapped inside a tropically themed parachute, and in his shirt, I looked like a stress-relief ball being squeezed by the mighty invisible hand of God.

    I have experienced this shame:
    2013-11-11-Ready-Steady-No.jpg
Oh, hey. No, it's okay. He came back to tell me my food is on the way. He did nothing wrong, and yet the universe's collective wrongs has increased by one unit.

Also this is one of my favourite comic punchlines:
    2013-10-11-Beard-Its-Ugly-Head.jpg
Sometimes the answer to something is so absolute, only the quickest, most solid answer to the affirmative or negative can suffice. ''Ronnie, what did you think of Clannad After Story?'' ''No.'' ''Hi Ronnie, I'm early-90's Andie MacDowell and I love you.'' ''Yes.''

I don't care for any of McDonald's after 10:30 food and haven't had any for a very long time. Their breakfast sandwiches are still the best in major fast food though.

My personal opinion of Burger King is that when you get fresh, not overcooked food, it can be really, really good. The flaw is that the majority of people they hire at burger king don't know how to not overcook everything.

I want to say that the absolute best fast food place I've ever been is Braum's. They not huge because they stay within X miles of the Braum's farm where they produce their own beef and milk/cheese. They're so friggen good. Like, they don't taste like fast food and they're cheaper than the other chains.

They're kind of inbetween Culver's and Burger King menu wise. They're just great. I mean, I've taken a girl there on a first date before and still got to second base. Their shit is tight, yo.

For a short time back in, I don't know, like 1996 or so, Burger King sold chicken tenders in the shape of the cast of the Rugrats cartoon.

Then, a couple weeks later, someone on their marketing staff realized that it might not be a good idea to be selling tiny fried children made of meat.

I've always been under the opinion that Burger King had better burgers, and everything else was acceptable but sub par. They're not great burgers for sure, but they are sliiiiiightly better.

Mcdonald's burgers are basically just a bunch of stuff they put on it so you don't feel bad about eating condiments. Can't beat those fries or breakfast sandwiches though.

So I had a Ronnie moment at the bank - that I thought of it as a Ronnie moment is probably a sign of something but whatever - where the teller said Hi! and then immediately How are you? and my brain tried to respond with both 'good' and 'hi' at the same time so I just said guuuhi? and now I can never go to that teller again

In 2012, McDonald's admitted that the special sauce ingredients were "not really a secret" because the recipe had been available online "for years".[7] It consists of store-bought mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish and yellow mustard whisked together with vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika.[7]

I liked the Burger King chicken fries but everything before and since then have been garbage.

I tried their buffalo chicken tenders because they looked good on the menu but while they appear to have a dry rub on them on the menu in fact they are slathered with a very orange buffalo sauce which makes it impossible to eat without either getting yourself incredibly messy or requires the usage of silverware. And it wasn't that great anyway, I guess I'm not a huge fan of buffalo seasoning to begin with.
