I need to go to bed so I can wake up with the kids in the morning. And so my brain can process this. Obi, I will always have a lingering doubt in the back of my mind anytime I get a cool role that PEOPLE ARE ONTO ME hahaha
The most stressed out I was in game was due to an early conversation with MrT. I was at work, and my face turned so red and stayed that way for a while b/c I went into fight or flight mode thinking I had done SCREEEEEWED up:

For a min after that question I was rushing back to re-read the narration thinking oh GOD did it really not reveal him as mafia and I've just given myself away!!?? Then I was sooo relieved, and had to try to play it cool.

I mean I usually try to be as honest as possible when mafia anyway (other than the obvious lies that are required), but still. Fuck. I was trying to play every single person.

So fun fact, a couple months ago I, somewhat on a whim, applied to a couple random casting calls for reality shows that at least implied the chance to "go back in time". As much as I love having a summer job where I get to dress like I'm from the 19th century, I don't actually get to really experience life as it might have been like then. And I really really want to.
So this game was kind of a silly way for me to pretend to be pretending. And while ruminating on all this, it made me realize what a huge influence the PBS show Manor House has had on my life. Which is crazy, considering I don't think I even watched every episode, and haven't seen it in many years (although the webpage on the PBS site is bookmarked as a good resource).. but apart from being one of the several things that got me interested in history that all occurred around the same time, it really specifically was one of the things that made me begin to wish I actually could experience life in those times. (Or, at the very least, dress like it.) And even more specifically, it kinda made me wish to be a servant, as odd as that sounds, which culminated in me also recently applying to be a footman at the royal household of England, and now seriously looking into domestic service as a career path mostly so I can have a stronger resume when I apply again.
When I took on the footman role, I was severely tempted to post this photo:
Which is of the First and Second Footmen from the show, but I thought it incredibly unlikely anyone would be able to recognize them, and their livery doesn't mesh with the nebulously Georgian-slash-Regency time period I had going on.
And now you know. Huzzah. (This is all vaguely embarrassing, but hopefully at least vaguely interesting to you friends.)

I originally planned to save the rake pun for later on once my 'mode switches' were more established, but then I got worried I'd die before I could make it.

Wow. Just wow. This game was freaking crazy and tough to get into at the start. You have a level of everyone working together, then another level where everyone works against the mafia (and SK but we really couldn't touch TRV), the ANOTHER level where everyone is backstabbing each other via factions AND conversions. This shit was bananas but I also had a lot of fun.
Figured my primary goal was to mess with/entertain @TheRoadVirus and get reactions from him so I did the best I could. Mostly tried to plant ideas that other people could elaborate on instead of coming up with something great on my own. The "Dark Secret" seed was the first time Ive ever completely fabricated something in a phalla. It was difficult to go anywhere since the factions were semi-symmetrical but I did have an idea to "epic reveal" and act like I was giving away the secret as a hostage to not getting me voted out. And then I got vigged instead. Ah well.
Will note that it is rare to be given creative space in a phalla that isn't just flat out lying. So it was entertaining to come up with stuff and I wish I could have come up with more/better ideas. Felt as good as getting the game master role in Saber's game and more stuff like this would go a long way to kill vanillager boredom. So thanks to @Obifett for hosting.
Disappointed @Auralynx died so early. You had some good ideas and would have added to this game a bunch. Seems a lot of people are getting frustrated about the amount of Day 1s they are getting lately and I hope you guys stick with it.
@Gizzy I you but it seems we are destined to be enemies and backstab each other forever.
SUPER FUCKING GEEKED THAT PURPLE WON! Holy shit when I talked to @MrTLicious I figured my back was against the wall as far as playing towards purple was going. But he also worded it that the likelihood that I would survive long enough to actually get converted was grim. So I decided to ignore him and play towards purple even though it felt hopeless and I am so fucking happy it paid off. Not sure if @ebfan is MVP or if everyone contributed equally but I am so fucking happy you purples made it worth it to stick to my guns. :^:
Coming home to phalla/play by post games has been a highlight for me lately. That's sort of sad to admit but I just wanted to say I really appreciate you guys as a whole.

It's not so much the RP stuff but the level of messing with the Schmo that didn't happen like I thought it would/should have. I was hoping the Schmo would have more reasons to have more often and a wider variety of reactions.
Like I said in my notes, I think that was ultimately my fault due to ambiguity of what drama meant and also putting the schmo in a role that was a bit hard to mess with.

It was a real worry that I would let the mafia down for being day 1'd just for being snooki.

It was a real worry that I would let the mafia down for being day 1'd just for being snooki.
Snooki was definitely the right decision. Jujubee would have been a bad choice because everyone loves Jujubee. Now if you could've pulled off Shannell or Phi Phi that would have been great TV.
