It's free @Houn! Get the game you don't care to, I mean, you won't be paying for it. :P
But the EU list has games that I'd actually want to play in it! Also, they get all the best pre-order bonuses.
It's true on both accounts. I wish we got anything close to the awesome preorder stuff they get.
Also, it would be nice to have the larger selection of games. I probably would have grabbed Game & Wario, but I'll take WWHD since I haven't bought it yet.

I'd have considered that, or W101, or NintendoLand, or maybe even Sonic Lost World, since my kids would probably play it.
Nice. Pikmin 3 is the only currently available game for WiiU that I find worthwhile that I don't already own. Once I take advantage of this promotion, I will literally be out of things to buy.
Don't forget Best Buy will give you a $10 gas card (really a Mastercard you can use anywhere) if you pre-order MK8.
Pretty aggressive of Nintendo to give away a freebie on this. I'd gripe that NA isn't getting all the stuff EU is, but at least they kept up their highest-profile games.
Bob Hoskins, best known for his Academy Award nominated performance as "Mario D'Angelo Yamaguchi" in the Super Mario Bros film, has passed. He was 71.
The Super Mario Bros film paved the way for a renaissance in Hollywood, where films based on popular existing videogame franchises had absolutely nothing to do with the original source material.

Yea, saw that this morning.
My favorite thing he did was Roger Rabbit. He was awesome in that. R.I.P.
I suppose I could trade in NSMBU, put the store credit toward Donkey Kong Country and then get a free download of NSMBU. Will my physical saved game work with the digital version?
Haha, those slow-mo sequences in the Direct when they're showing the customization features..Mario's moustache gently fluttering in the wind, Koopa's eyes as Rosalina speeds past him..
It looked like the wheels spin at different speeds in a drift, too. Nice touch.
$330 gets you the Wii U console itself, a Wii Remote valued at $40, a Wii Wheel valued at $15, and Mario Kart 8 itself, valued at $60. Include the free Wii U game you get from registering MK8, plus the Digital Deluxe Promotion credit you would get for redeeming said free game, and that's another $55-$65 worth of content included.

Damn.
Yeah, it's probably the best deal for anyone who might still be on the fence.

Wii Party U is the only game of the four offered that I don't own, but I'm in a conundrum...
I prefer physical games to digital software when possible, so I don't particularly want the digital release of Wii Party U.
However, I don't need any more Wii Remotes, which makes the retail release annoying.
I'm guessing I'm going to grab a download code for one of the games that retails at $60 and then sell it and put that money towards a physical copy of Wii Party U, where I will then sell off the included Wii Remote. Urgh, so much work.
This is probably really old news, but I just saw that Mario World is one of the Club Nintendo games at the moment, and it's an *actual* Wii U redeemable game, instead one of those straight up stupid "go into Wii emulator mode, set aside that perfectly fine gamepad, fetch your wii mote, and tether an inferior gamepad to the wiimote with a ridiculous 10 inch cable, and I guess stick the wii mote into your pockets awkwardly or something while you play" kind of VC game.
The codes we receive as redemption for this deal, would they be tied to our NID? If not, I would contemplate sending you my physical copy @maximumzero in exchange for the code.

Yeah, the last few months have had one game that's from the Wii U eShop.

Where you living?
Louisiana. Assuming the codes work like the Pokemon X & Y promo, they shouldn't be tied to our NNIDs.

That and I need to be able to resell games when I'm finished with them (Scribblenauts Unlimited) or if they're complete stinkers (Assassin's Creed 3).
Digital software is ownership for life, and I'm not particularly crazy about that.
For what it's worth, Wii Party is the kind of game that's perfect for digital ownership. No need to change discs for a quick game with friends, just start and play. And Wii Party is also the kind of game that has terrible resale prices but still ages well since you can play it whenever you have people over.

I'd argue that Wii Party U is the worst as a digital game because you can't sell it when you realize it's Wii Party U. I'm definitely selling my code and putting the money towards Smash 3DS, a game I was on the fence about.

Heck, she was older than that when she went into space and was crowned queen of the Lumas (or whatever)
Yes, you have to register Mario Kart 8 with Club Nintendo before you'll get the download code for one of the four games.
Bleh. NoA, you suck! I already own everything on that list that I care to!

We bought it for the wiimote, and we enjoy it. Had my wife's family over and we all played and enjoyed it. Worth it for when you have guests.

He needs as many games on disc as possible to pad out those game shelf pictures he posts whenever someone mentions the WiiU's lack of software.
Don't forget the included Gamepad stand.
