Hmm, good point, disc. I hadn't thought about Preda possibly having a fan. But it kind of ruins my dramatic moment with Blarney, which is fairly rude of you to interrupt, if we're being honest.
Besides, if Grunt's Ghosts is who I think he is, we're pretty much done here. And even if he isn't, the most they can do is stall for a few more turns before our (or Obi's!) inevitable victory.

Um. So you're taking back your bolded order, I guess? Not sure how to feel about that. On the one hand, I'm not getting stabbed. On the other hand, plans are afoot.
Well, jdark got to change his order how many times earlier in the game? I don't think it's unreasonable to allow people to be talked out of their actions as long as they haven't gone through.
I really hope Grunt's isn't our Assassin, because if so we're in a tight spot.
While I would prefer the discussion to come first before any orders are entered, our games were always full of "well I'm going to stab you" "wait no don't do that, do this instead" and that's a pretty important part of the late game, so I think I'll allow the order change. You might want to make it a bit clearer that you're explicitly retracting it while you reconsider
Going forward, I feel like a bolded actions should be set in stone. It's a little different in meatspace because you would actually have to GIVE the dagger to someone, or take a quill, etc. I think stating your intentions should be fine. E.g. "I would like to stab @crimsoncoyote" wouldn't be locked in until it was bolded, allowing others to weight in.
I feel like it's good practice to indicate orders using bolded text (or in the case of this game, posting the dagger image next to an order), and then only making one order to lock it in. I do understand needing to retract or change orders as necessary, though.
Well I'll reveal an Unknown affiliation and try to figure a way out. If the Beast clan is hellbent on capturing me, that means I have two hits left to give. If Kristmas Kthulhu is their leader, then his three hits are more than I can give. If Grunt's Ghosts is their leader, then he must be an Assassin, and though he only has two hits and I have initiative, he can expend his ability to land a capturing blow.
stab jdarksun, and allow me to intervene. Then we get his mentalist power back, and he can use it on someone. Unless we have a red assassin, in which case we use his power twice.
Everyone's allegiance is known, so Rose doesn't have an Assassin. But following up on your idea, using the Mentalist ability against Grunt's Ghosts reveals his rank and brings him one wound away from capture. If he's the Assassin, then it's a Rose victory since he can't use his ability. If he's an Alchemist, then Kristmas Kthulhu is the Beast Clan leader and out of reach of the Rose abilities. If Rose is to have a chance to win, that might be the way to go - a 50-50 shot.

Plan is, you get stabbed, I intervene and give you your ability back. You hand the dagger back to crimson, who stabs you. You use your ability on grunt's ghosts. If we discover him to be their leader, we win. There are no more blue abilities or interventions remaining in the game, I believe.
@PhyphorHeal my ability, following Rend's plan. I believe that's my... number token? Is that right? I want to heal whatever allows me to follow Rend's plan.

I'll play as well, if @REG Rysk plays!

And who do you think I am?
No. No we don't.
Stab @Preda in his dumb game-saving face. *grumble grumble*
I really hope Grunt's isn't our Assassin, because if so we're in a tight spot.
So, if Blarney had resolved the stab against him before the change of order, it would be final. Since he did not, it can be changed.

So... what to do?
Oh dear, you beast clan mongoloids really need to learn some patience. And class.

Heal @jdarksun
Give dagger to @crimsoncoyote
You need to hide your rank token, and then I stab you proper.
