Cashing in on the current craze of simulating relatively mundane things in computer games, NORMAL HUMAN FATHER SIMULATOR 2014 is coming out for PC this Thursday, and it looks like a lot of fun!

I saw the video for this in Walmart on the PS3 display and literally just stood there for twenty minutes waiting for it to start over.

sometimes steam is weird about having a coming soon page but not actually letting you preorder something

I'm assuming they set up preorders on a per-publisher basis and will generally only do them if there's some sort of bonus or discount attached

YES!!! incredibly janky animations, tramping around mundane atmosphere trying to accomplish silly antics. Oof, this makes me actually want to play this octodad thing.

It just feels like a video game wacky adventure. Like why wouldn't you want to finish it, look at that goofy dad, you gotta help that guy out!

basically, yeah! it's the concept behind things like QWOP expanded into a full game

in practice NORMAL HUMAN FATHER controls kind of like a marionette

Huh, well, I'm going to enjoy watching some LPs of this, but I would really dislike playing this for the same reasons I disliked Surgeon Simulator.

I love the concept though.
