Hm, interesting stuff in Modern. That said, my Modern deck shall remain a march of unfeeling machines. I prefer them over wildcats/spending $TEXAS on mana and Goyf, and Cranial Plating is a balanced and reasonable Magic card.

Asphyxiate is pretty great in limited - it'll be even better when people stop trying to use it on my non-summoning-sick creatures while I've got Phenax on the board.

so my roomie is playing mass effect and dragon's teeth are referenced and i just realized that i dont remember if theros has printed a dragon's teeth card yet
i could see a "when this creature dies put x soldier tokens onto the battlefield where x is your devotion to red" dragon printed
I got a Phoil Phenax, an Ephara, a Kiora, a Mogis, a skeleton Champion guy, foil Curse of Swine, a few Heroes of Iroas, some GW scrylands, some Coursers of Kruphix and a bunch of other useless poop.
The foil Phenax looks pretty radical.
