    I straight up don't get that deck.

    The goal is... to use Riddle of Lightning to hit them with the damage off Worldspine Wurm.

    Well, that's... conditional. You have to have Riddle in hand and, presumably, have scryed enough that the Wurm is at the top.

    It's certainly never CASTING the Wurm

    What are the two piles to the left of the Worm?

    Ok I thing the Blue one is Enter the Infinite.

    So... that's just another Spell to Riddle with. But at least the deck isn't splashing an entire color for it.

    You'll never have to cast those 2 cards either. You can riddle of lightning or blast of genius people for 6-12 on the reg. It's just a silly deck (that seems incredibly fun)

    Yeah, the Brackets in the gatherer advanced search urls futz with the forum.

    Copy and paste it to search for cards in Standard with type Creature with the rules text "Mana Pool".

    I'm still a huge fan of Axebane Guardian, but I like Defender decks. I think they're just stupid enough to maybe work some day.

    Ive gotten to tge point with the meta that if i have 4 elvish mystics off the bat then i can one hit kill on turn 4.

    Which leads me to want more onecmc mana creatures.

    Mana ramp hydras would just be so fun

    With the right draw you can generate some pretty crazy ramp with Burning-Tree Emissaries, Nykthos, and Voyaging Satyr.

    now you know why there is almost never more than one 1cmc mana creatures in standard at once

    Goal #1 is to Blast of Genius with EtI/Wurm in hand. Riddle is the secondary win condition, and you're really only going to fire it off when you (a) already know what's on top of your deck, or (b) need to do something, at which point arranging the top 3 cards is your primary goal and damage is secondary. The green lands aren't in the deck to cast Worldspine Wurm -- they're just for Scry.

    I could see using Riddle on your opponent's turn to put one of the CMC cards onto the top of the deck, and then blasting with said card next turn. Requires alot of luck, yeah, but you can't tell me this isn't a fun FNM deck.

    So excited for the videos from the SCG Open this weekend to hit YouTube next week (I'll say this... SCG gets it's content up pretty quickly, which is great for me since working on the weekends - plus guests from out of town this weekend - keeps me from watching most events live)

    I'm really excited to see how JOU affects Standard in reality, not just speculation.
