I swear, if Kid Icarus Uprising goes on sale the week after I bought it on ebay after MONTHS of searching for a decent price, I'm going to scream.

I have absolutely no desire to play a Street Fighter game other than SF 2.
That's too bad.
Despite all of the problems I have with Capcom, Street Fighter IV (and the upgrades) is honestly the best game of the franchise. It's so well put together that it's amazing. It also, eventually, after several releases, has the best cast of any Street Fighter game. I don't agree with their yearly re-releasing of it they've done but then again, it's not like Capcom hasn't done that to the series already (see also SF2).
I have absolutely no desire to play a Street Fighter game other than SF 2.
That's a shame as the series got a lot better over time.
Eh, it got more complicated but it didn't get better, in my opinion. Everyone now has thousands of combos which require dozens of button inputs, a super meter, a super ultra meter, a super ultra reserve meter and the fuck knows what else. It's just too much to keep track of.

But which SF2? Vanilla? Super? HD?
Any of the SNES ones will do.
It's totally cool to prefer the old Street Fighter 2 over 3/4/Alpha/etc., but at least play the proper arcade versions and not the scaled down SNES ports.
One case of NoA doing it right doesn't make up for NoE always doing it right.
But hey, nice sale.
I really don't get where this notion is coming from. There are just different sales on the European eShop compared to the US one, not necessarily better ones.
For example, we've never gotten any kind of Atlus sale, as far as I can remember.
You can't get a sale on games that aren't actually ever released in NoE.......
There are enough Atlus games to warrant a sale here, like the Etrian Odyssey games.
And yeah, at least you guys get all the games. I'll never be able to play Rune Factory 4, so complaining about the occasional EU eShop sale just seems petty.
One case of NoA doing it right doesn't make up for NoE always doing it right.
But hey, nice sale.
This pretty much. Europe tends to get way more sales than the US, and usually better ones. This is probably one of the few exceptions, though I recall seeing a similar one not long ago in Europe...

I infinitely prefer Smash Bros to it.
Aren't Street Fighter combos usually like, no more than five attacks? Shorter than any other fighting game I've played. Evil, evil timing windows though

You did, though we may have actually gotten the better one this time:

Ah yeah, that's exactly the one I was thinking of. So yeah, ours is better this time around, though that isn't usually the case.
Funny though, with Zelda characters listed for next week, we may end up getting something that roughly matches Europe's big Hyrule Warriors inspired sales too.
To paraphrase the late great Roger Ebert:
This game doesn’t scrape the bottom of the barrel. This game isn’t the bottom of the barrel. This game isn’t below the bottom of the barrel. This game doesn’t deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels.
I can't wait to see the Nintendo Minute people try and play it.
Actually it's pulling off some impressive effects on the NES there with the giant boss, and makes good use of its limited palette. I think its biggest sin is being a random mediocre forgettable Nintendo-hard game.
Phooey, I was hoping they'd put Yoshi's Island GBA up for sale.
Those are only this week's sales. There's always a possibility it could be on sale before the month is over...
Not likely. This week's characters included Yoshi AND Mario - not really any wiggle room to include that game with the characters listed for the next few weeks.

This sale is horrible for me because it looks like there will be great deals for a number of games I have had my eye on...all at a time where I will have trouble justifying the expenditure. These qualify for the Digital Deluxe Promotion, right? If so, I may make some unwise financial decisions.

When I was younger I always misread this as Noabunga's Ambition. Maybe childhood obsession with TMNT.
