Crypt of the Necrodancer is so good! I'll probably end up buying it again on Switch. Worth it for the music alone, imo.

I don't know I enjoyed playing it with disco and other music
It seemed fitting for being in a crypt

It's a great game, and you can play it completely on the gamepad.

You and I have very different definitions of "completely on the gamepad".

Not a huge hardship; just had to move the HDMI cable from the Switch to the Wii U.

Game was interesting, if brief. Even getting the extra ending.

Spent some time with my brother-in-law this weekend. He was showing me his (and my wife's) old Pokémon card collections, including a ton of foil cards, Japanese cards, promo cards, etc., and the whole experience REALLY made me want to play the old Pokémon TCG game on GBC. The online version from a couple of years back was pretty terrific, but... It's so tempting to go buy it on the 3DS eShop, or even dig up my old GBC. Such a good game.

I know I've ragged on USUM quite a bit for making unnecessary, worse changes to SM's content, but the new Electric Trial was really cool. Too bad it replaces the original Electric Trial, which was already one of the better Trials in the game.

So Bayonetta 1&2 is next week, what's the eshop deal with that? I heard the physical version of 2 will only have a download code for 1, so I might just go all digital with both if there is a similar discount thing like the Wii U releases.

Similar to the Wii U. 2 is near full price and 1 is discount price. Best really to get the physical version.

I think it's $60 for the physical release of Bayonetta 2 that includes the Bayonetta 1 download code, or $50 for Bayonetta 2 digital and $30 for Bayonetta 1 digital?

Bayonetta 2 will cost $50 on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Once you buy the sequel, you'll then be able to get Bayonetta for $10.

If you purchase Bayonetta on the Switch eShop first, it'll cost $30, but you'll then be able to nab Bayonetta 2 for $30.

Just a friendly reminder to noy buy Payday 2. The devs are notorious for being shitty to their console customers. They want that sweet console money, but they're only interested in addressing and fixing issues for the "real" version on PC.

I know I thought sadly since the gunsafe debacle they had and the fallout of such was losing a large part of their studio one would think they would try to be better going forward

It went from nothing to "oh hey, there's a new Fear Effect coming out soon." Then I saw it up for preorder on PSN and I watched the trailer. It looks awful, which is probably why it wasn't announced until it was practically already out the door.

Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.
