I dunno, her SBB heals the whole team, but maybe it counts as lifesteal for the team since it looks like it procs on each hit of her SBB. She's usually my healer in my spam team.
I'm think there are other units that do it, but it's amusing how May is always the last one to appear on screen when you battle her. It looks like she's trying to catch up to the gang as they line up to fight.
Can someone who is more knowledgeable about this game tell if an arena team of leader 6* Kikuri, 3x 5* Lira and 5* Lunaris might be more effective than a team of leader 6* Duelmex, 6* Kikuri, 6* Sefia, 5* Serin and 5* Cayena? You can assume max lvls and the same group of spheres, and let's assume all lord typing because I don't feel like checking right now.
6* Duelmex team, with Duelmex as leader is pretty much a guarantee. You don't need 50% additional attack power if your 3 or 4 of your mans are popping BBs on turn 2.
It's not a 100% guarantee, but it's close. The randomness makes sure it's not 100%.
Mainly just thinking out loud, I suppose. I could still test it out just to check once I get the other Lira leveled all the way. Might be worth it once they all get their 6* forms.
I'd also highly recommend BBs that have a chance to paralyze or injure, because you might as well swing the odds more in your favour if at all possible. Reeze, Sefia, Signas off the top of my head. Reduce the chance for the opponent to attack at all, or at least deal any severe amount of damage. Can't tell you how many times they've saved my ass with those procs. Mind you, usually any time 2 BBs go off in arena, it's lights out for the whole team anyway, so it's not like a BIG deal.
Welp I didn't make it to 15k and now I regret not gemming for it. For today I super want that unit I probably wouldn't use.
@Schide I think Duelmex, 3xLira, Serin is probably the best combo. I think you'd get BB for everyone after turn one more or less guaranteed. With the Kikuri and Mura/Foil It's still a gamble if they'll kill 1/2/3 units turn one which is just not as effective in my experience.
I was running Duelmex, 2x Lira, Cayena and Serin for a bit but that didn't actually work out quite as well as you might think. The Lira's were a bit too squishy and their BBs weren't doing enough damage and when I was BB leveling I was concentrating on other units at the time. Might try it with 3 Liras though. Oh, or Ophelia since element doesn't matter in this instance. She'll be max level sooner anyway.

[edit] Ran the Metal Parade 11 times in a row today. That means 55 metal units. Let's day a half of those are kings, which is rather generous, but whatever. That means roughly 27 metal ghosts. Since there are 5 elements, at least 5 of those metal ghosts should be thunder ghosts. But I only got the single thunder ghost. And I needed thunder ghosts to evolve kings. After thunder ghosts, I needed water ghosts. I didn't get a single one of those.
I have two Serins that I haven't leveled yet. If I had been given some notice, I could have used a team with Serin, Serin, Serin, Cayena, Cayena. Instead, I have to do with Loch and Madia.

I'm glad I got one of my Douglas his SBB1 and to lv 85, and also my Behemoth to BB4 and lv 100.
Just need to get my Aem to lv 100 then start feeding him BB fodder so I can try to get him to SBB1 at least. Then I can use any friend leader from Felneus to Centaur and Bahamut.
Also really happy I managed to get max rewards in my first run of Intro, unfortunately Mid screwed me on a couple of levels with only a trio on 3rd stage, and a duo on 4th, then trio again on 5th.
What in the...ok, last battle on end. Dilias and Duelmex. Killed Dilias in two turns, Duelmex was left with 1/3 health. Duelmex then proceeds to make attack after attack, just not stopping until my whole party went from full health to entirely dead in one turn. Must have been like 6 or 7 attacks with one SBB and 2 BBs.

With 4 Medullas and a Sacred. Medulla on Grah friend too
I took defensive set. My main stumbling point was not popping the Demon Flute right away turn one. Ziz kept paralyzing 2 people a turn so I ended up burning too many status clear items there. My Cayena died towards the end of the stage.
Second stage Grah friend ended up dying twice somehow so I was all out of revives and Grah was dead the rest of the run.
Rest was pretty nondescript BB spam except one stage I got a Crystal which ended up being free points(only maybe like 100k all told, maybe less).
The main thing I think is to pop the defense potion when the enemies get close to 50% maybe there's more leeway with that, not sure.
Most stages seemed to only use their huge aoe hit once. Big single hits happened multiple times though.
I think I could have cleared even with the dead Grah if I had maybe 6 or so status clear pots. Possibly a 6* maxed Il&Mina would make a better second leader as well.
I was able to get the Legwand with that run, now to try to clear.
So second run in Terminus. Flute first was a good idea. Lorand likes to one shot Doug on second floor.
Apparently the Crystal will completely mess you up if he's in a bad mood.
OMGWTFBBQ Loch floor 5 one shot 5/6 of my team. I guess that's another thing you need to watch out for.
Oh boy, Terminus. Not sure I can field a good enough team to get the Legwand gem, though I'm going to try.
Is it the same battles every time? In that case the second battle is gonna screw me over every time if I can't do what I did my first run where I kept paralyzing Deal. And that crystal...uh yeah, I think if you don't kill it fast enough it hits you with an attack that takes away most of all your units' HP and their entire BB gauge, so the next battle you're basically screwed. Wish I had time to level my Melchio.
EDIT: Oh I guess it's random if the crystal does that. Gee I wish my Cayena hadn't died in the 2nd battle of this run...got the 3 gems reward at least. Yeah, might have been able to beat round 5 if Cayena hadn't died.
Managed to clear with the Fel/Grah team. A lot of it was basically hoping units didn't get one shot at some point. I'm not sure if it's possible to actually do this consistently.
So far I've had units one shot on Stage 1, 2, 5 and 7, and I've even gotten completely wiped on Stage 2.
Did you just run it with your above team? No healers? Which set, Balance?
I used the Fel/Grah team I listed above both were fully maxed.

Just get rid of spheres you can make at any time. The Beast Blades are #1 on the list to dump, they're easy to make and don't require rare ingredients. It takes 2 muramasas to make an Angelic Foil, so hold onto those if you can until you can make some foils.
