I beat the first boss fight, it definitely forces you to figure out how to use brave to win

The demo only showcased the combat mechanics without any of the story stuff. So it is no surprise if it didn't suck anyone in

Crazy overpowered. By the end of the game Ninja/Spell sword with some of the Valkyrie skills was doing 9999 6 times a turn with full Brave.
Combined with some Performer support so you can do it again next turn without waiting for 4 enemy turns. It gets kind of silly.
Glad to see it's finally been released over there though, loved this game.
no aesthetically no, it's four set characters. you can pick your jobs and stuff though
over the course of the game you rebuild a town that gets destroyed in the opening cinematic. you get villagers from streetpassing people and can assign those villagers to different tasks, which will then benefit you in the main game. like you can have them work on rebuilding the weapon shop which lets you purchase new weapons.
It is a fun game, with nice music

Brave lets you take up to 4 actions in a single turn.
Default lets you store a turn for later, plus puts the character in guard mode.
Being able to unlock your limit breaks like that is very, very, very useful
also I'm gonna try the demo again I wasn't really paying attention when it explained anything
It will make rebuilding Norende much faster
Still near the start of the game, wondering if its worth having a knight? It's protect your ally ability doesn't seem to kick in very often and he ain't doing the damage he needs to do.
