Lately Ive been seriously thinking about my future, my plans and how to achieve them. Before a couple of days ago I fully planned to move from Falmouth to Colorado and try to go to school out there for animation at the end of summer. But now Bostons looking like its going to be the better choice, as the transition will be much easier and I can probably get more financial help if I stay in Massachusetts(I have literally no money for school so will need lots of help on that front). Now, as far as future goals, I really would like to open an animation studio(Id probably venture into games eventually aswell). But Im not sure how one goes about doing that kind of thing, I obviously dont have the money to open one myself but at the same time I have to wonder how people in the past have done this. Im just very unsure whether or not to risk pursuing this, its pretty far fetched and if it doesnt work well, we know how that ends.
First things first, man. Worry about your college courses and such first, but always remember your dream to keep you motivated and working hard. Take some business courses or even go for two degrees, one in animation and one in business. The financial situation may be rough, but if this is really what you want to do then you'll find a way to make it happen. 8-)
