SP350 Soft Phone issues / Rebooting / Ports / Work from Home?

Howdy, so this is an oddly specific question but my google fu has failed me. I'm currently using an SP350 soft phone from NEC corporation to work from home. This phone works fine, except every time I end a call, click a button, or breath on it the wrong way, the entire thing restarts and I need to log in again. We connect to a server via a Cisco VPN thing.

I wasn't sure if anyone had any history with soft phones / telecommunications, and could help me out? I'm using a Windows 7 laptop, and coworkers have the same issues intermittently. I.E Three of my four other coworkers have the problem, and when we compare our settings to the working phone's settings, everything is the same.
