Welcome back to the show that won't stay cancelled. Like a Phoenix or Herpes, we are going to try this again, and hopefully we can finish an episode. What is this, you might be wondering. Or maybe you know but want a refresher.
Back in 1988, the British did an improvisational radio show called Whose Line Is It Anyways. Then it became a TV Show, then it came to the States and even now its risen it's funny little head again on the CW*. Because we here at PA are full of characters, why not just let them loose? That's the point of this game.
*I think it got cancelled again. I didnt get a chance to see if it was still good.
The Game
This is a play by post game. We'll see how horrible this is.Four people will be our contestants, the guys who do the improving. To be a contestant, you must be someone who will post often.
Each Episode will be made up of 5 rounds, each lasting up to 3 days (Saturdays and Sundays could be counted as one day) or until I feel we have reached the climax of the scene and need a cigarette and a cold shower. Each round will have a different game for the contestants to play, usually with audience suggested topics. Audience Members, AKA you who aren't contestants, can PM me, Grunt's Ghosts, with topics. Contestants can too, I'll just make sure I ignore them completely. Maybe. You will receive credit for your topic so that the contestants can love/hate you. Topics can be anything, from "Catching Grandma in a compromising position" "Things people say in Rush Hour Traffic" "What I saw at PAX this year", ect.
Points
They don't matter but just for fun, points are counted by how many "Awesomes" a post has. The Audience can Awesome a post that they find funny. At the end of the Episode, I'll count up how many Awesomes each person has and then decide who I thought was the funniest because you people have terrible taste.If you are interested, think you are funny, or just looking to past time at work, SIGN UP TODAY. If there are more than 4 people who signed up, we will rotate who is a contestant each episode.
