Just saw that Suikoden 1 and 2 will be coming out for the Vita next week(although Suikoden 1 has been a PSClassic for a while). Although, since they say it's coming to the Vita as opposed to a PSClassic for 2, does that mean we're getting the PSP version of 1+2 instead?

PlayStation's Twitter account clarified that it's out for PS3 and Vita, so the classics.

I'll be damned. Sony must have went in hard for SFV on PS4. Pretty cool.
I think it's just as likely that Capcom wanted to implement cross-platform play as a core feature, and MS wasn't willing to allow XBOne/PS4 cross-play.

Peter said it'd be after the keynote, so give it another hour or so, probably.

EA is giving out 3 games, NFS:MW for vita, Mirror's Edge for PS3 and PvZ: Garden Warfare on PS4. They are already free on the store, even if there's not special feature on the store home page.

They're pretty much funding the entire franchise, Ono has said Capcom would never have made it without outside backing. So someone was going to pay up and get exclusivity...

Nope. ToraShiro (Konami rep that frequents GAF) said they're ports. Trophies.
Edit: Gah, I'm wrong. He said they're ports but he meant PS1 Classics.

Bloodborne's showing was strong. More excited than ever. That flowing hair tech! Drawn to Death, David Jaffe's new gig - AWESOME! Reminds me of Superjail, tone-wise, just bigger and badder - more badass. No Man's Sky is still damn impressive, even if the PS4 demo's graphics show that the game will require a beefy PC to look both pretty and run smoothly, with how ambitious the game's scope and scale is. Quite obvious level-of-detail related pop-ins and jaggy shadows.
Very smart of Sony to get into the Convention game, since it's both profitable and a potent marketing tool. So many damn fine games to show-off. I feel like a glutton!
Also- thank you EA for giving away all those games, espially Garden Warfare! Guess I'll have to buy the shit out of BF Hardline now.

Bloodborne actually looked really cool. I haven't been a huge fan of the Dark Souls games, but Bloodborne looked different. Like you could survive some hits, a little more even flow in the combat...

I might have to check it out when it comes out.
You could always survive hits in Demon's/Dark Souls. You just had to wear decent armor and actually level up your character's Vitality from the base values. Almost every PvP-ready build could take some licks in both PvE and PvP. Of course, active defenses like Dodging, Parrying, and Blocking were still king, but it's not like you couldn't take a hit.

The big thing you have to realize about the Souls games are that they are just old-school RPGs. Something too hard? Go grind some scrubs until you level up. The better the gear, the easier the battle. Wanna go faster, hit harder, take more hits? Work on your build.
This is always my favorite line in any multiplayer game demo. when the main player/actor says to his buddy "I'm reloading, cover me!"
For some reason you never actually see it used in the handful of games that actually have suppressing fire implemented as a mechanic. Just games where no one gives a shit if you're reloading.

"I'm reloading!"
"Oi, you hear that, the enemy is reloading! Time to charge them while they're momentarily defenseless!"
"The sausage of Green Earth explodes with flavor like the cannon of culinary delight."

A dedicated "I'm reloading" button to lure people out in the open so you can shoot them.

This is kind of creepy... a bunch of random messages in my inbox thanking me for something, and one that says they flagged me for spam.
Wow, I think EA did it. Auto-sending messages advertising their free games.
I totally lost track of time and this morning I noticed that little "+" was missing next to my name. I'm plusless!
I get paid next week so I should rectify it then, but I do get everything back, right? I read some random stories of people not getting thier old ps+ games back, but that's the extreme minority, right?

I flipped out in the PSX thread. vagrant_winds also created a Yakuza 5 thread.
No, No. I flipped the fuck out. Tears of joy. Screaming. Swearing in momentary disbelief.
Then I created a new thread.

I don't know man
The FFVII troll was pretty goddamn great
If it finally makes people STFU about a VII remake, then I'd call it a win.
The truly deluded people are the ones who think people will talk less about a remake now instead of more.
