Weird, I guess I'm in the EU D3 clan even though I play on the Americas region? I thought TMH was just our clan, I wasn't aware it was the euro one, and I had not heard of PAF until just now.
I cannot find the PA group in the community search at all.
All I can think of is either you searched for "PAF." or you're not in the American Region? If the former, there's no period in game, it was just a separator in the thread title.
If there is a European Clan and/or Community, I can add that info to the OP.

No characters no friends. Completely different battle.net. But I am just messing around on crusader anyway. Not like I havent played through Act1-4 tons of times already I can do it again when NA comes up easy enough. Oh and it stays english.

Actually it probably will be but it would be nice if their notification system made an ounce of god damn sense.
I didn't plan on playing ROS tonight, but I am still looking at my email every 15 minutes to see if my activation code has arrived. OnePlay.com has already apologized because Blizzard/Activision hasn't delivered their entire order (which could be a rewording for "we didn't order enough keys to meet current demand").

I've had stuff work out exactly like that. Their notification system makes no sense. I often get stuff like "this shipped just now!" at like 9 pm for a 2 day shipping product that shows up the next day at noon.
Haha, yeah at playing with wizards. It's a whole new game trying to spot frozen explosions with slow times and orbs flying all around. I'd be scared to death in hardcore to group with wizards. Oh and I forgot to mention the mirror images who then cast the same things which basically makes it impossible to see anything.
It's not great on my Monk either, where the Cyclone rune for Sweeping Winds makes a blue circle around me and blue tornadoes fill up the screen.
Is there a minimum level on the monster scaling or what games a character can join? Or is it possible to fight a level 1 Diablo?
Monster level is based on game creator's lvl. Don't think its possible to get to act 4 without lvling a ton.
Get friend to make game, join, quit, then make your own game. New game starts at your level.

You have 1 crap skill to beat Diablo with. Don't know how interesting that is besides an exercise in self-inflicting pain :-p
Put a Hellfire ring on the Level 1 char and it would probably be a pretty easy battle... might even want to use no weapon so you can get the punch Diablo achieve.

Yeah, but how gimpy is level 1 Diablo? Does the Lightning Breath tick for 1 damage? Does he have 1,000 health? I'm curious how far they went with the scaling mob changes for the expansion.
Huh, I thought at least crit/crit dmg worked fine with dots.
I don't like dots on WD or otherwise because it takes too long for them to apply full damage. Like, compared to direct damage. They'd have to do way more % damage to be worth it, mostly.
So it "works fine" in that you either have every tick crit, or not. And if you reapply while its critting, you are applying a new roll, so if it doesnt crit you just lost a stupid amount of damage. And it doesnt show as critting, so its really hard to tell in a group of numbers if your dot is critting or not and if you should reapply.
There's a new set bonus that will be 'use x ability, to have all the remaining ticks of dots currently up to go off at once', but honestly that seems like a fuck ton of work to pull off when ability x also has a 10 second cooldown. It could be fun though and I want to give it a shot... ( I think x is soul harvest)
So that release day FAQ says you can actually log in before RoS releases. They're just going to turn it on at midnight EDT, no relogging, restarting, or anything required. I'll try to log in earlier.

You don't gain exp in town right?
So leave the level one character in town while someone else runs through the quests
Then bam, level 1 diablo
then resume it.
It also helps that he does world building and concepts not writing.
