And Harmonix teased that their newest DLC songs for RB3 totally "weren't hinting wink wink" at what was to come. One of the new songs was "Rise of the Fenix" by Tenacious D, and the other song had a similar title... RB4 incoming plz.
Always be wary of ebay and other reselling arenas. You are better off doing something face to face at the venue. If ebayers take your money and run it's going to be a bigger hassle than being told "no" outside BCEC. And there are always people with extra sets.
Well for us, the idea of rolling into Boston with no badge in hand is very frightening -- and the idea of being told "no" at the doorway sounds like a nightmare scenario. You can always get your money back on eBay, but obviously sitting around in Boston with the money and no ticket isn't exactly a victory condition.
How do you find these people that always have the extra sets? I'm aware there is some kind of ticket exchange thing on Reddit, but the few times I've looked at it it always seems like there are 10 WTBs for every WTS (probably because they restrict the price there).
Look for people who seem like PAX people, wandering from person to person. When I was at Aus, Duckie and I had to do this to sell off an extra set of tickets. It's pretty easy to spot, you have someone bouncing from group to group, having short conversations and probably holding tickets.

Yeah, confirmed with an omega friend that it's gonna definitely be at the booth. That's a bit of a relief, actually. I thought they were only going to hand it out at like the party or something.
Im now about 90% positive they are gonna announce their new Rock Band now at pax and the pin is something dealing with that. If it was Amplitude, we should of seen something already.

They are viable as long as the other person you are trading with wants/needs them. All depends. The sets that can be bought can be used as trade fodder at other events to trade with staff.

Quite a few people at PAX don't buy sets online, they just get whatever shows up at each PAX. If you're looking to trade with others online, I'd say they're not the best since they're accessible to everyone, unless they're Limited Editions. The 2015 pin in the store is a bad example since its been readily available for 2 months, but down the road it might have some value to someone who missed out on it.

Probably better than you're expecting. Remember that us weirdos on this forum, who go wild for every single pin drop, are definitely in the minority of people who have interest in the pins. Tons of the people you meet at a show won't even be aware of many of the online pin releases, and will be interested to get them.

Also worth noting, I've had a bit of success trading 3rd party pinny arcade pins that are available online. Seems some collectors either aren't aware of these, or don't want to buy from a different pin vendor.

Series 1 still might float around, but the priorities now will be to push Staff 2.0 (for PAX East), and Staff 3.0 (which will go for the rest of the year).

There are enough Series 1s in circulation that they'll always be around. I don't think you'll have any trouble at all getting Series 2 staff, and would probably be able to grab a good number of Series 1s.

From what they have said about them, the ideas for them only happened very recently because of the sketch he did last Monday. We know that the production time for Pins is months, so almost certainly don't have one ready. Possibly a pre-order, but I don't see anything like that coming. I think the next Eyrewood Pins are going to be for the Thornwatch Kickstarter, which barring major problems with Thornwatch at East, will be in the next month or two.
