Games that are like HotS Arcade: Desert Strike?

So, I've become pretty obsessed with this very simple pseudo-RTS game that's available on the Heart of the Swarm arcade.
Are there other, full release games out in the aether somewhere that have an identical core concept? I love building bases that churn-out units, but I just don't have the hotkey dexterity or attention span to really dig into full-blown RTS titles; this 'tug of war' stuff hits a sweet spot for me on the macro strategy scale in the same way that DotA-style games hit a sweet spot for me on the micro strategy scale.

On the arcade there's also Nexus Wars, which is similar although probably not quite as good. I don't know of any "full release" games that are like that though, unfortunately... I'll try and see if I can think of any, but I'd also be curious as to the answer
