Malphas the Macabre. I've been asked if I ever practiced Alchemy, and "I admire your consistency, but do you even know what you are doing?" I think I got the message about how lovely the moon is tonight once too.
Been voting Sword in hopes of getting a cool clan assignment*. My plan is to then switch to voting whip. Stylistically I prefer swords, but on the chance they might do something interesting with whip-based gameplay mechanics (ala Arin "Egoraptor" Hanson's suggestions in his Sequelitis review of Super Castlevania IV) I would like to see another whip-wielding vampire hunter.
Whoever is writing for this site deserves a pay-raise/promotion. Excellent hype and very good characterization of Castlevania's Dracula.
*ETA: got it; Rapier. Was hoping for Broadsword but mostly didn't want Katana
Maybe people are under a misconception. This is unlikely to be a vote on which weapon will be used in the game. Especially as vampire-Iga has already confirmed multiple weapons.

I've also seen "A new, vital heart. Pulsing with the old blood."
fear the old blood
iga teaming up with miyazaki confirmed
No, no. It's a New Wolfenstein crossover.
BJ Blazkowicz will go back in time to fight Dracula.
I'm kind of ok with this.
Edit: I am Ipos the Idle of Clan Rapier on my desktop. I'm just gonna push that sword button until Igacula gets fed up with me. Wish I knew what timezone 11 was though.

Last post of the night and then I'll shut up for a bit;
I switched back to Sword out of curiosity, it gave me the same "traitor" message, then put me back in Clan Rapier, so as long as it remembers your name you'll probably always get the same clan(s) for your choice. I mean, it could just be a coincidence, but... hm... further experimentation may be required. *reopens window and starts clicking*
Cool to see Ben Judd in there; I hadn't heard anything about him since the Bionic Commando reboot.
I'm only 2 minutes into this thing, so I have no idea what's going to happen here, but I doubt it's any coincidence that it's gone up the same week as the Sword or Whip site.

I'm only 15m in and this is just utterly fantastic.
If I had a single complaint, it's that anyone but Iga is talking. EDIT: they are asking great questions, so mostly kidding! The ass kissing at the top was a bit much though. :P
Hold on. Are the PSN/360 versions of SOTN 60 fps and I'm just not remembering? This seems substantially more smooth than I remember (watching the video in 60fps)

Not sure, but as far as I can tell, they're playing the original PS1 version in this playthrough. I don't think the PSN/360 versions have that ugly CGI intro with the castle.
I'd bet "meeting in the New World" means meeting in the United States. The Americas were referred to as the New World in the 16th Century, after all. Thematically, it works.
Oh man, this one didn't even fit in the dialog box!
???:
I have seen you make fools of powerful enemies. I have watched you warp through obstacles, exploit every advantage. I have watched you cheat. Good.

Heh, Iga told an anecdote in that Devs Play video about watching a speedrunner do some crazy stuff.
"I have watched you fall through walls by turning into a giant monster while in small corridors. I have watched you tag-team faster than sanity should allow. I have watched you jump-kick. Forever."

I literally just got this one as well.
I haven't felt the need to keep hitting a single button so much since Cookie Clicker first hit the web.

I watched that whole thing. And honestly, I count it as 2 hours well spent.

I watched 20m or so. Got tired of reading Iga's subtitles, then having to listen to other guy's embellished translation.

I'm about an hour into it. I paused it for a while to watch Vinnie at Giant Bomb coincidentally stream himself playing Castlevania II.
Lots of fun tidbits in the Dev Play, like how the menu screens we see in SotN were originally just placeholders and they wanted to give them a lot more flourish, but ran out of time.

Additional votes got me in the Cat O' Nine Tails clan.

This could effect the timezone.
Hadn't seen that one yet.

It's a stretch, but what if that's going to be a game mechanic? Like, exploits as a feature?
