And so the cycle continues with the troll posts. Verbatim, too!
Also, what's the fastest paragon/renegade exploit that one can use in ME2 without breaking the game? I used the one at the end of Samara's mission to max out my paragon points, but that took aaaaaaaaaages.
So how about them mass effects. I remember getting stuck in stairs all the god damn time in 1 and charging into doorways and getting stuck in the air constantly
Getting stuck in shit is present in every guddamn game. I remember walking up invisible stairs during the exploration of the Collector ship, slowly ascending to the ceiling. It doesn't even take a lot of work! You just walk up to a ledge and go in or out of cover a bit and then suddenly, bam! Stairway to ceiling. I think I have a screenshot somewhere of Garrus and Grunt floating above me looking really confused
Also, the invisible traps set up on those two spots behind Joker's fucking chair in ME3 that stick Shepards in place
To this day I still quicksave before entering the cockpit.

Wow, so apparently Liara is fine with Shep having Miranda on the side. I didn't intend for it to happen, I was watching Person of Interest on my second screen and pressing space through some of her dialogue, and I didn't realize we were close to 'the talk.' So now she's going to jump me in the elevator one of these days. Fired up Shadow Broker and Liara seems not bothered by this. Not sure if this is because she's going to murder Miranda or something.
Also, is there a point to the Galactic Readiness thing on the main screen in ME3? It occurs to me today that I've never seen mine go above or below 50%, I've never seen any in game way of altering this. Are you just 50% ready for war?

Multiplayer is how you raise Galactic Readiness. Prior to the EC patch, you actually had to do some Multiplayer to get the "best" ending choices, but they fixed it so that you're OK with just 50% galactic readiness provided you do enough side quests and stuff.
50% means that your actual war asset score is reduced by half when it comes to passing the endgame checks
50% is the bottom limit
multiplayer increases readiness

I almost forgot, there is one other way to increase galactic readiness besides multiplayer: If you have and play the ME3 Datapad app. Requires an iPhone (and I don't even know if you can still download it)
It occurs to me, was there a reason why they created the Diana Allers character for ME3? It seems like Emily Wong would have been the obvious choice.
That's what literally everyone said.
It was some sort of promotional something something based on a real life woman who does gaming news or something. I hope she looks a lot better in real life because, wow, that dress. o_0
-edit-
Emily Wong was killed on Earth during the invasion via Bioware twitter
No idea if this is true or not, but supposedly Emily Wong was forgotten when the game was in development, but then someone remembered her a little too late, so she was tacked on for the twitter stuff.
I mean, the twitter story was well-written, but yeah.

Why use some character with actual history with Shepherd when they can turn Jessica Chobot into a polygonal mutant with tacky clothing?
I never knew Allers was based on a real person. Just looked her up. Real pretty face in real life. Definitely did not translate well into game textures.
ME2 Question: Is there a way to get Kelly to dinner/ feed my fish without doing the horizontal monster mash? Don't want to piss off Liara (and apparently Miranda, now).

Sabotage Shep?
She asked if you'll keep an eye out for Fist's files and plant some bugs at C-Sec docking control.
Edit: And uses the stuff to file news reports, just using Shep as an unnamed sources.
Also, they did a 'twitter' update on Emily Wong? Like, for real, not April Fool's day? That seems as tacky as Allers' dress.
Emily was the reporter that was on Earth at the moment the Reapers attacked. So it wasn't just one update, but a whole stream of them. This is one of the first ones:
I know the ending has been talked to death, but...
You're telling me the Crucible is accurate enough to rearrange the DNA and molecules of everything in the galaxy? (green ending) But it can't tell the difference between Geth and Reapers? (red ending) Get the fuck out!
I've been replaying bits and pieces of the ME games, and that aspect of the ME3 ending really jumped out at me this time.
On less annoying matters, I've heard whispers that the ME trilogy might be re-relased on Xbox One and PS4, is that true? Or was that just a dream of mine?

Well I mean you could chalk it up to the fact that the catalyst would help you do green, but the catalyst was the first victim of red and thus the weapon was some what indiscriminately fired.
Ha, just read Kasumi's Dossier in the Shadow Broker's lair. Love her inventory.
Not only the Mona Lisa, but the Koh-i-noor diamond. I'm more curious if she removed it from Queen Elizabeth's Crown herself. Less impressive if she didn't.
Love her voice. Can't place a reason on it, but it has a fantastic whimsy to it.

She just sounds so happy to be there.
Her boyfriend is dead as hell but she's definitely the most angst free member of Shepherd's crew.
red is end we were fighting for!
blue shouldve been the renegade comic-gabe ending, continually reapersurrecting tim just so he could dick stab him over and over
green should only be available if parental lock is on so your 10 year old who watches pokemon every morning before school can play without swearing and the intimate moments are just embarrassing kissy bits
and the fu ending is there for those people? who hang out at card stores and dont shower everyday, they need something to gossip about
also you can up the galactic readiness here without a mobile or playing mp

Ooh, I didn't realize they had a web version of the iPhone app. Cool.
Is it just me or are there a lot of tidally locked planets in ME1?
tidally locking is far from the biggest sin committed by mass effect. it also suffers from the same phenomenon of all sci fi, where planets tend to have one biome across the whole surface regardless of axial tilt or distance from the sun.

I hear there's a conversation somewhere in ME3 where Shepard asks EDI if there's some neglectful creator in her past that she sees as a father figure, and when she says no Shepard must be so relieved.

Pretty sure you never actually sleep with Chambers. You just invite her for dinner and she feeds your fish. Then she wears a hilariously embarrassing outfit and just kind of awkwardly dances for you.

garden worlds are gardeny all over
ice worlds are ice all over
desert worlds are desert all over
this happens in EVERY scifi world. Earth has a fantastic array of different climates, but apparently ours is the only planet special enough to have such.

That and if she has Daddy issues, she's keeping them to herself, which is a win in my book.
Gives the side eye to Tali, Liara, Garrus, Ashley, Wrex, Grunt, Thane, Jack, Miranda, Samara/Morinth, Jacob, and Vega.
If nothing else, Garrus and Shepherd are a kick ass parenting machine.

At least Garrus gets over his daddy issues on his own.
In the time between ME2 and 3, he reaches "Hey dad, I know we've had issues in the past, but... Reapers. Can you do anything about that?"
"Let me check. Oh, shit, you're right. REAPERS! I'll get you all the help I can. "
And then everything works out without Shepard interfering. Good for Garrus.
Why I fear the ocean.
