Sorry But i dont see register on that website also, I click client login and theres still no registration?
I too didn't see a place to register. I've sent an e-mail for clarification, I'll update when/if I get a response. I just took a run through PAX AUS (which is also through ShowClix) and it basically asks for all your billing information / credit card info after you've selected which tickets you want, no registration necessary.
I can only presume that the Prime / East ticket ordering was the same way.
Thanks I Hope I get In, I live in BC So its close for me to go, I really want to go but I have school so and the tickets might go out in like 1 minute
Sorry, I haven't even touched that site since buying my PAX East Badge, if I remember correctly, it asks you to create a login when you actually go to buy the badges.

If Showclix is used again, which is a high probability, there is no registration needed. When you purchase your tickets it will automatically add the tickets to your current account, or it will create a new one if the E-mail you provide has not been used on Showclix before.
I recall there was place on the forums where we all speculated the day/time tickets would go on sale last year. Is it this thread?
Definitely not.
This thread is strictly for Q&A. If you aren't providing an A for a Q, and you aren't asking a Q, please do not post in this thread. Anything that requires a more in depth discussion can be its own thread (like hotels, for instance), but things like "where do I park" or "do I register for showclix" are simple issues that don't need their own thread.

How fast did pax east sold out? How long was the que?
I believe it took around 40 minutes for the three day badges to sell out, after that it took about a week or two for the single day badges to completely sell out. Saturday was the first to sell out, then Friday, then Sunday. Sunday took much longer to sell out than the other two. One thing that helped me get a three day badge was a Google Chrome Extension called "Notifier for Twitter", which pushes out tweets the second they are posted on twitter. Even with that extension, I was in the que for a good 20 minutes before I finally made it to the purchase screen, although I heard some people were in the room for a couple hours, depending on when you connected to the site. Either way, when the time comes, just be patient and don't get F5 happy when inside the waiting room itself because refreshing will reset your place in line.

Thanks but I think I will be on the phone since it usually sells in the noon on weekdays, What do I do with my iphone? When i get the tweet out I should go on the website and try to get in? Should I refresh the page or just wait? Also can i just turn the phone off? like put it to sleep or will it cancel the thing?
Silly question but if I manage to get 4 1 days badges (vs. a 4 day badge) do you think they would be willing to give me a physical 4 day (in lue of the 4 singles) so it will match the other badges on my badge wall where I have my other 6 badges on display.

Very unlikely. People have asked in the past and they have not done it.

If by "they" you mean another con-goer who happens to want to trade a single 4-day badge for four 1-day badges to complete a set of their own, then possibly... on the last day.
If by "they" you mean "Showclix" or "the powers that be who run the show", then no.
That what I was wondering, I have to pick them up the night before (international), and whoever running the station where you present your email confirmation and ID

If you bought a set of four 1-day passes, that's what they'll present you with. There's no way they're able to switch out the merch - there's a set number of each type of badge, so you'll get what you paid for. The only way you'll be able to trade in a set of 4 singles for a 4-day is if you meet someone else looking to make that kind of trade.

When should i start gettingmy credit card info ready? Do you think they will sell this week, month ?
It's usually about a month after the previous pax. However since East was so late this year, there's really no way to tell for sure. Sorry that we can't give you a better answer than that.

I don't mean to rehash, but I said I'd say something when I got something official. SkeleVader is absolutely correct.

Between you and me, Peggy, I smoked this Juul and it did UNTHINKABLE things to my mind and body...
I would be VERY surprised if tickets went on sale this week. They've got to clean up/recover from PAX East, after all.
Based on past years, mid April is about the time tickets go on sale, and with East being so much later than last year, you never know. I just hope that they don't on sale on the 23rd, because that's when I have my first mid terms this quarter.

This thread already has quite a few good tips from the veterans. Basics: Now that PAX East is over, watch the main PAX site. Follow @Official_PAX on twitter, and try to be near a computer when the tickets go on sale.

anyone try setting up SMS before? I just did and got a tweet from a day ago - I'm worried its not going to give me the info I need
Hey El Oso, their last actual tweet (not a reply) was "PAX East 2014 is now complete. Thanks for a great show everyone, and see you next year!" April 13th, so if you got that, you should be okay. The latest activity on their twitter has just been replies to questions, which I don't normally get through SMS either...

Last year I nearly didn't get tickets because the tweet from PAX was sent to my phone so late. Usually it depends on cell reception and how poopy your phone is. Still, you'll be notified sooner than people who don't have SMS notifications. To be safe, I'd keep an eye on the website and maybe try out the browser Twitter notifier.

Here is my spreadsheet showing the history of sale dates & sell out times.
Is Prime more popular then east? East sells out slower then prime
There are a few factors, but the biggest is probably simply space. East has more room than Prime.
Very unlikely. People have asked in the past and they have not done it.

Do you have a smartphone with internet access?
yes i have iphone with data, but i heard u need to refresh alot of times cause i heard it freezes
Dev tickets have been on sale since March 14, I don't think there's any connection between PAX Dev sales and PAX Prime general public sales.
