Is it me, or does Titanfall have one of the worst, most poisonous playerbases this side of Xbox CoD? Excluding you guys of course. Over the last two days, I've had someone whine that my CAR is OP, my satchel is OP, my carbine is OP, my kick is OP, my shotgun is OP... This is usually from a SP user, mind you. Oh, and my LMG, seriously.
Exactly what weapon IS acceptable?
I mean, not that I care. I'm gonna use whatever weapon seems the most fun. But I actually am looking forward to when all these people migrate to another flavor of the month. Maybe thin the ranks of geese and whatnot.
Just yesterday I had people complementing each-other across teams (shots, getting the drop on someone) during a game.
Honestly there are few times I die in Titanfall it wasn't my own fault. For being out in the open, or looking down sight or just being out numbered. My amount of "Bullshit" deaths are way less than when I played COD ghosts.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

It's been relatively pleasant playing with pubs on PC as well. I can't remember more than 3 people who were big enough racists/bigots/assholes to actually get me to find a new lobby. A good amount of friendly chatter between teams, most of the time, even. I've actually received compliments from people on the receiving end of rather epic kills.

Yeah when I'm not in a group I don't have my mike in, but I can hear talk, well I could if anyone is talking. Most of the worst is someone will ask if anyone has a mike, no one responds and that person just turns their mike off.

Which factors in as well, because since I've been on gooser I've gotten killed by that nuke occasionally. Also maddeningly some pilots just don't eject. I don't understand it at all.

If you're not instantly pulled out of the cockpit, it's pretty easy to misread how much damage your titan can take and stay in too long.
Edit: I've often though, "50% on the striped bar, that's plenty of time to get ano... oh, I'm dead"

I try to aim for center of mass. I have gotten kills by tagging their legs but usually I try for the torso. A direct hit should always be an insta-kill, even without the amped version.

LMG is fantastic upclose or midrange if you get used to the initial kick. Hipfiring is basically pointless past 10 feet, since your spread is all over.
Although I've had my fair of expletive litanies while playing due to bs it's a lot less often than CoD.
Usually it's when I notice there was a latency issue, something was lost in translation. Like when someone two shots me with a c.a.r from the hip while mine takes many more shots. That's just a server issue. This also happens in melee a lot. I've been on the winning AND receiving side of Intercontinental Ballistic Homing Feet.
Although one time I got out hip-shot using my car against a dude with a longbow. I was steaming.
That would makes sense though with regards to the car losing out to a long bow, because the long bow has more powerful shots, so if he randomly landed more of those than your car did he'd win.

Macallan tells the militia to leave all the militia pilots behind.
How is the one choice "evil" and the other "noble?"
Well, you see, it's very simple. The IMC are evil so when they do a thing it's bad. The Militia are the good guys so when they do a thing it's good. You can tell because the Militia are Americans and Americans are the best.

I guess I'll try it again. It appeared that I hit them -- I watched the beam directly impact the pilot, and then nothing. Could have been lag I suppose.
Oh, and regarding Titanfall vent channels being somewhat emptier; I know many Titanfallers who are currently distracted with the Diablo 3 expansion. We didn't leave forever. We're just. you know, distracted.
