And a Doomsayer, lol. In seven packs, not one, heh.
So, Illidan, Cenarius, Onyxia. Which one do I like the least, and can vendor for Leeroy. Probably... Onyxia? Can't ever really see using her.
Hell, I'm at 1385 dust. I can vendor two junk epics and some commons if I desperately want a Leeroy right now. Legendaries are too cool to dust; I've already dusted a golden Velen and a normal Al'Akir.
You know, looking at this card it really seems pretty good; an attack boost and a divine shield for 1 mana, but it has to be on a Beast. Could make for some killer trades up, and yet nobody uses it. I can only imagine it's because the "Beast Deck" archetype is frowned upon, but...
What am I missing here? Because if there's a really good argument against it, I can melt it and craft a Leeroy.
Edit: Nvm, epics disenchant for 100, not 400. Not quite to a Leeroy yet.
Most hunters play cheap beasts rather than the few fatties, meaning that it hardly gains any value over arcane shot and is significantly trickier to play. It's also unable to target through taunt. If you were running a true beast deck it could have uses (kill yeti leave 3/3 taunt on the board with the bear if it was on the board from t3) but in standard charge decks it just gives you one HP of beast extra over arcane shot.
How many Fireballs are too many Fireballs? There is no such thing!
I just had a glorious hand with Antonidas on the field. Ended up with like, a Flamestrike and Five Fireballs in my hand at one time. That's after another Flamestrike, a Cone of Cold, and an Arcane Explosion in the previous couple turns.

it's a card that can never 2 for 1. All it can do is kill a minion or add a little bit of damage to the face. That makes it worse than a lot of chargers, which can stick around, and who don't depend on having a beast in play.

These are the two decks I'm laddering with at the moment, used a token druid from 25-15 the other day, shaman from 15-11ish, now a watcher druid from 11 to my current 7. Shaman is flexible and reliable enough to beat most decks you'll run into consistently EXCEPT hunter (can still win, but unfavored), and watcher druid stomps aggro of any flavor including hunter. Shaman does better against control decks though
I just played the most intense hearthstone game of my life, holy crap
I was running the shaman deck I posted last page after getting beaten down to rank 8 again, and matched against a guy running a giants paladin? Never played against it before but he had insane healing and stall to get his giants going. It came down my last card draw, he was sitting at 5 hp and killed my taunt totem and all I had on the board was a mana tide to his empty field (he'd equality'd most of the minions on the board before). I draw my final card, it's a lightning bolt, and the only card in my hand is flametongue totem. LOOKS THAT THAT'S EXACTLY FIVE DAMAGE SON

I think paladin giants is a classic deck that fell out of favor a while ago. Can't remember why

I think I'm the only one but I still hold that illidan is the worst legendary. Definitely worse than onyxia but both aren't that great.
OK, real talk time: The iOS version of the game. What major differences should we expect and how much of your life will you lose because of it?
I play Hearthstone on my Surface Pro exclusively via touch (have I mentioned this is a great bathroom game and when I say before bed I'm lying and actually playing this in bed instead of sleeping?) and while it can be a bit fiddly in really minor ways that's mostly just due to me running this game on a touch screen PC when it was meant to be mouse driven on PC. The only really glaring issue I've got so far is that I can't figure out how to delete decks via touch (which has the easy work around of "just use the trackpad") but again, lolsurfacepro. Considering how fun of an experience it is playing this via touch controls on my Pro, I imagine that a version of Hearthstone built entirely with touch controls in mind will run flawlessly.

I'm tweaking both as I start to need certain cards above others, both are flexible enough that you can add/drop as you need
I've been iterating on a similar Druid deck, unfortunately I'm too poor for the Ancients and the deck kind of falls apart without them at higher ranks. I'm starting to think that Zoo might be the best way to rank up although control warrior and Handlock probably aren't far behind if you have patience and dust, and of course there's always herp derp hunter. Funnily, I've had the most success with a Trump-style mage deck even though people are really down on mage right now.
I really hope they include asynchronous play, but I have a feeling that the current HS crowd won't like it and it'll get ignored. I've really grown to enjoy iOS games that feature that type of play (Ascension and Hero Academy) and think that HS would work well with only a few tweaks.

I actually just lost to a trump-style deck because I didn't figure out what I was playing against fast enough, it was really sloppy of me! Same goes for a loss earlier to a guy running Reynad warrior - I mulliganed totally wrong because I assumed (wrongly) he was playing control. I'm sure you'll be able to rank up quickly with something people aren't expecting like that
For what it's worth I'm going to stop playing slower decks when resets happen until I get into lower ranks - too many needlessly slow games, the drop from 25 a few days ago could have been a lot faster
My tempo rogue seems kind of SoL against handlocks.
Well... it would've been a toss-up if I had not lagged out of being able to do anything on my second-to-last turn.
Maybe not so terrible, then.
Still, it was probably only close because he didn't have Jaraxxus or any Molten Giants.
I made a game! Hotline Maui. Requires mouse and keyboard.

I basically made this deck only to fill a Paladin quest and I didn't feel like playing the Aggro paladin deck. (also I haven't replaced Redemption in it yet). It's replaced a "steal all the things" Priest as my favorite deck to annoy people with.
It works pretty good at what it says, good matchups against Hunter and Warlock which is all I want anyway. Even controllish decks aren't bad if I can get good value out of the Equalities. But I'm really missing BGH in those matchups.
I don't run the tauntgivers, because I feel they give hunter too many hounds. I'm content with just having 1-2 minions on board. Also Paladin card draw isn't great, so you run out of cards if you use two just to put a Taunt on the board.
Rag is obviously the MVP because he comes after Hunters have used their removal (on Abom, Sunwalker, Guardian) and he doesn't trigger any traps. Alex is somewhat iffy. I rarely need her heal and using her battlecry for damage is only really relevant against Hunters (Warlocks tap themselves down anyway)
Anyone have ideas for more/better card draw? Possible cards to replace are Alex, Thalnos, Earthen Ring.
I'm starting to think Druids are just god damned Kryptonite to Hunters. I had to play against three of those in a row and I got my ass completely handed to me.
EDIT: I have two Warlock challenges up and just unlocked Old Murk-Eye. Operation Singing Bass commences tomorrow.
People who take the full turn timer for the most obvious plays are obnoxious. Yes dear mage, running your worgen into my 1/1 and into my face is good, did you really have to wait the entire timer to figure that out?

I really want a Nozdormu. I don't care what people think about him because it always takes them longer than 15 seconds to think it.
So after all the hard times I had at 12 I blasted through 11 and and halfway through 10 with Healadin. I played 3 matches with my morning coffee, ended all 3 with 30 health. Against a Legendary-hoarding warrior a sort of aggro rogue and a Trump-ish mage. Mage burnt through her whole deck really fast before realizing she didn't actually have enough damage in her deck to take me down.
The Warrior got a little salty. But he grossly misplayed putting down Geddon while I had a Guardian of Kings on the table, which I immediatly traded without losing anything else. Sylvannas was silenced. Alexstraza was made to FOLLOW DE RULES and her damage quickly healed back up. Ragnaros went on the table with too many doods on my side, I just Tuesilvered him, traded with other dood and healed the 8 damage with Lay on Hands. Ysera was equalized and traded with a recruit.
He kept spamming I WILL CRUSH YOU, so I allowed myself a bit of BM and before giving the final blow I took the chance to remind him that HE IS NOT FIT TO RULE THE HORDE.
Man, I can't wait to face all the Reynard huntards that must be surely piling up on rank 10-9.
Huh, ran into a fun little tactic against control decks by a rogue while finally getting around to constructed. He used vanish/sap to force me over the hand limit a few times, wasting 4-5 of my cards.
He still got rolled due to wasting mana on that, but it was kinda cool :P.
Wow. Just got Doomhammer+Rockbiter+Rockbiter'd in arena. 18 damage to the face.
Wow, were we playing against each other? I did that to someone about that time. Was a tense match, pretty close all the way. Then boom 18 damage to the face.
God I love leeroy so much. It feels so cheeky. Behind against this rogue the whole game. He's slowly whittling me down. I think its a lost cause I'm on 8 life, he's on 22. Then finally leeroy pops into my hand. FTT on either side +leeroy (10 damage) + rockbitered doomhammer + guy on board for 22.
Wonder if we'll ever see Minions with damage reduction, some sort of mechanic that reduces the damage the minion takes from all sources by 1.
I hope we get a lot of dwarves with that.
Yeah, that would make sense. In the WoW TCG it was Orcs for some reason. Dwarves had "Find Treasure" which was "When this card enters play, you may draw a card. If you do, discard a card." and that doesn't really fit HS, imo.
Another keyword that could be nice is Will of the Forsaken "This card can't leave play unless it has fatal damage or 0 health.", that makes the minion unkillable by hard removal.

I've gone from 20 to 8 with a pally aggro deck, most of that without leeroy, finally crafted him around rank 11
I finally broke down and crafted Leeroy. I feel dirty. I especially felt dirty when I leeroy shadowstep leeroy shadowstep leeroy cold blood cold blood'd a priest earlier.
