@SoundsPlush so courteously pointed out my stupidity that Blood Dragon is actually much cheaper than originally posted. Thanks for pointing that out. That game is all kinds of awesome. Especially if you used to watch bad 80s action movies.
If anyone hasn't played the Lagacy of Kain games, now's the time with 8 bucks for all of them (except the original blood omen )
I know, I was sad that of all the ones, the first wasn't in the bundle.
I mean, I have it around here somewhere. I've never played it, though. Only Soul Reaver 2. I'm thinking that after Darksiders II, it might be time to go for a run through that franchise.
All I can figure is that because Activision published the first game instead of Eidos we'll never see it. There's no real reason at this point for SE to acquire it from them, and I'm sure Activision couldn't give two shits, particularly with Nosgoth doing the series no favors.
It's depressing, for sure, to not be able to complete the series on Steam, but at least I still have my PS1 copy.
WHich is sad since it has some of the best lines.

Looking at games in your library, I can tell you right now that Fez will not. Borderlands 2 with properly downgraded graphics, should run reasonably.
What kind of games do you like? I do a lot of gaming on my work lappy, so I have a good idea of what games do and do not play nice with integrated graphics. Good rule of thumb is that most indie games are very poorly optimized and rely on brute force processing to hide this (again, Fez). The Source games in your library though, they should run extremely well because Source is a very optimized engine.

Are Marlow Briggs and Closure worth their current prices? Inquiring minds want to know.
Marlow Briggs is definitely worth $2.50.
Well, so far that's two votes for good ol' Marlow.

I played Closure on the ps3, it was not really for me. You can play a cruddy version of it here: http://www.closuregame.com/closure.php and see if it's your cup of tea.
Edit not a cruddy version but the flash game it was based off of. Framerates and puzzles are much improved in the actual release but it's basically more of the same of that.
Surprised to see a Winter Wolves game hit a humble bundle. Dev over there has seemed to really struggled with the bundles, including one at groupees that probably had the saddest amount of sales I've seen for one. I felt bad.

Closure I couldn't really get into. It's pretty stylish, but I didn't find the physics puzzles very engaging. I don't hate it, but I probably won't put any more time into it. On the other hand, I think that Marlow is way awesome. I'll just repost my comments from a few weeks ago:
I played and beat Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death last week, and it was a blast. Gameplay is very similar to the God of War franchise.
It also has some great references and similarities to Big Trouble in Little China. The bad guy is an evil sorcerer played by James Hong (i.e., David Lo Pan). He's trying to become super powerful via Mayan mysticism (rather than Chinese mysticism). Briggs' guide character, an ancient Mayan priest, also specifically mentions the "black blood of the Earth". I like to believe they're set in the same world, which is filled with evil sorcerers trying to ascend to godhood through various means.
The plot is decent, but pretty basic. I wish they had given Briggs more of a personality. He's no Jack Burton.
Still, it's well worth a look if you like third-person action games and send-ups of 80's action films.
@shdwcaster and @spoit both gifted me at the same time with Defender's Quest and Flora's Fruit Farm respectively. Thanks guys. This community is insanely classy.
It's been a while since there has been a Pixie Giveaway Contest. I'm out of shape and practice. So this one will be pretty simple...
First, the prize: I prowled all the 2 themed games. From the obvious to the not-obvious. From the cheap to the "yeah, not on my budget, bubba." And lemme just say, there are a lot. Sequels are neat. "2" sequels are often great. "3" sequels tend to suck (see also: Diablo 2 vs. Diablo 3). The Newell understands this to be ironclad fact, as we all know.
In the end, the prize will be one of two possibilities (hehe):
Either The Walking Dead: Season 2 - because it's the most wanted sequel among all of my friends (and not-friends who are just on my Steam friends list because I don't know). Plus, zombies. Fuck yeah.
OR, if the winner already has that or doesn't want it for some perverse reason, the prize will be... something else, to be determined by me at the end of the contest, based mostly on what the winner already owns and appears to like or want and partly on my evil whimsy. Because I'm terrible that way.
Consolation prizes may or may not also be provided, mostly depending on how good the submissions are.
So what's the contest?
Torture. I'm a huge fan of it. Really. For reasons.
PM me the most terrifying and/or painful method of physical torture you can imagine. Your entry can be most anything: an art, a video, or (probably best of all) a description of the most horrible way someone could be tortured (like, say, someone who took the last cupcake or something). Be as brutal and imaginative and detailed as you can. You cannot offend me no matter what... you probably can't even make me cringe (seriously. I dare you to try). I mean it - go above and beyond and come up with something that would make Vlad Drakul shudder. There should be suffering of the sort Dante couldn't dream up. It is not necessary (or really, desirable) for the subject of the torture to live through the experience.
NOTE: The torture may only involve adult humans. Submissions that target children or animals will be frowned upon, sneered at, and answered with great rudeness. Just sayin'.
I'll pick my favorite based on any of a number of fickle reasons. When I've finished my world conquest, your design will be implemented for use on dissenters. (edit: oops)
I'll run this for a few days. I will tentatively plan on announcing a winner on Thursday evening, about 8PM Eastern US Time or so, but may end it early if response is pathetic, or may extend it if it feels justified.
C'mon you pansies. So far almost all (but a handful) have been either mental torture (not the subject of the contest no matter how many Justin Bieber videos you send me) or humor (or attempts at humor). Where's your sadism streak? Where's your cruel and vengeful natures? Where are your razorblades and etching acids?
Wimps! Bring it on! I want to see/read some cringe-inducing torture!
Multiple entries accepted, by the way. If you submit something and then think "no, wait, it would be even better if fishing hooks were involved..." then send me that!
I actually have a real reason for wanting these submissions. Besides for eventual global conquest applications...
No entries, even the winning one, will actually ever be posted (for obvious reasons). So don't hold back because you worry that you could win and offend people or something like that. Your entries are secret and safe. I will only share the most general and not-stomach-churning info about any winning entries.
Starting to see some delicious wickedness coming in now! Your collective potential for evil is delightful and wonderful and some of the entries have made me giggle maliciously. That said, I haven't squirmed or cringed yet, so there's still room for a truly fantastic knock-out! Don't hold back if you have something good just because you think "Eh, I probably wouldn't win anyway..."
Chipmunks are like nature's nipple clamps, I guess?

Would you say you didn't care about getting closure?
Closure is an unfortunate vicitm of just being in a genre that's too overstuffed. There's so many puzzle platformers out there, than the basic "here's our gimmick, go do these puzzles," thing doesn't cut it much these days. Need a hook like the creepy world of the Swapper. I don't think you need a story, but the ones in the genre I feel myself actually playing more than a few levels tend to have at the very least a world to explore, rather than the "Enter door to do these puzzles" things like a lot do. Forward momentum, maybe? I played a bit of Contant C, from a bundle, same thing. Enter door, collect doodads while using gimmick. Eh.
