Hmm, seems Nexus is high pop which is making it so I can't delete my warrior to roll a spellslinger. Looks like if I join PvP tonight it only be as a Stalker or Esper, Warrior is still pretty eh in my book.
Edit: Also, has anyone figured out how to edit our costumes? I found the button to equip it on and off but not how to edit the costume themselves.
I just made a character in Nexus without any issue.
Yeah, when I go to create a new character it said my account was full. Thought it meant characters in total so since I have 3 on Nexus and 3 on Pergo I deleted one on the latter with no problem but the it still said my account was full. I go to delete on Nexus and I just get a repeated bug that it won't let me. Not a deal breaker, beta is beta, just thinking of what I wanted to play tonight.
Anyways, an awesome addition: no more going back to town to buy skills, a buy button appears right next to it after you hit the right level!
I'm liking this game, but its definately a little rough around the edges. Like, the video is crazy choppy for me, and I pass the reccommended specs and am playing on medium. Ton of fun though
Try switching to full screen and not full screen exclusive. That helped me a lot, but, there is a problem with the animations in this game. When I'm right-click turning while my character is running, the character will appear like it is in two places at once, causing the screen to jutter briefly. My fps stays around the 120 and 144 fps range (I have vsync on, my monitor is 144mhz natively) when that stuttering happens so it's obviously this game. I don't remember seeing that before the new UI update, or maybe I just didn't notice it before.

Damn it. Game crashes every time I load now. I finished the main quests and went on an airship to land on Nexus and then BAM Application error. Who do I send this info to?

Only issue I've had so far is the graphic settings. There's only a 10 FPS difference between Ultra High and Ultra Low settings and it averages just below 30 FPS. I'm going to monkey with my GPU settings and see if I can get better performance.
tutorial zone only takes about 10 mins to run through once you've done it before. Also just to make a note, there are 2 landing zones you can go to, depending on your race. The quest tracker before always shipped you off to your 'default' landing zone, but you can take a shuttle to the other one to try it out instead.
for example i hate the aurin/mordesh starting area, so I took the exile shuttle to the exile/granok starting area as an aurin

Switch from "fullscreen exclusive" to "fullscreen" and try that. It isn't your GPU it is the game.
My laptop has also been having an issue in which the frame rate drops to sub-10's, like it's overheated (my guess, due to the fan speed changes), but returns to full speed after a couple dozen seconds.
Am I crazy or did they change some color filter or something? The game world in particular seems more vivid. It's an improvement, but I'm just wondering if I'm imagining it or it's an actual thing.
Also, PAX has brought a lot of people's attention to the game, seems like most servers are full/high at the moment.

Digging: the new art assets - lots of new claw and shoulder models I hadn't seen before.
Not a fan: the new costume system. Having to come back to Thayd every time I want to edit my costume or dye something is less than bueno. I get why they're doing it this way, but I don't like it.
Confused: why is my Stalker hitting like a Leukemia patient all of a sudden? I'm getting my ass handed to me by some even-con mobs and others I do just fine. Same mob type, same family and everything, just "this one you cut through like so much wheat but this one molests you sideways with a chainsaw". I made sure to re-do all my AMPs and everything. Feeling weak sucks.
Edit: Also 'Boo': Thayd is suuuuuuuper laggy now. Like Vanilla-Ironforge levels of lag.

Messing around on my Esper in Deradune I'd find most prowlers were the standard fair but if I came across a Predator it was a hell of a lot tougher. It seems they sprinkle in these tougher guys (I usually tell from the health 500 vs. 1.2k) but thankfully they also give you a much larger % for quests. Then of course there was the uber prowler up on the rocks, team of 5 chua took it out for awesome ankle biting action.
I think there should be something around their portrait to tell you which is which but they've made it much more subtle than the huge gold dragon of WoW days so they need to improve that.
Edit: Aww boo to the costume change. At least let us put them in a different inventory slot then because last beta weekend my inventory was drowning in linen gear.
Anyone getting a #undefined error when they try to whisper someone?

Reloading the ui apparently fixes things. Or going into addons and restoring defaults then Reloading
Oh and costumes need to be done at an npc now like dyes were previously. Prolly the same one actually.

It's scratching that rogue itch. Still eyeing medic but a nice surprise.
Also, yeah, I'm totally maining a chua at launch.
Settler and science paths, especially like the scanbot and notice it has vanity slots and can be named.
