god law school is such a joke

    ;_; I'm having doubts u gais

So you're thinking of going to law school?

i had ruled it out before but now I dunno anymore

but i don't know nothing about nothing no more

also i work in a law firm and it drives me mad and I can't decide if the associates are like 100% miserable or like 50% miserable, which, you know, i guess i could live with 50% miserable

i have known a fair number of people with JDs and most of them seem to not like their jobs (lawyering or being a lobbyist) but are often stuck because lol loans

iiiiii know, this was a big reason I ruled it out

however, mundane jerb I have now is also not exactly something I like

I am lost is all gimme a break I'm young but getting less so and it's freaking me out

simile uses like or as to make something abstract or hard to grok familiar

metaphor suggests a kind of theoretical/allegorical lens from which you view other things through

Imagine a simile that described a simile.

But the simile that it described, was itself!

a metaphor is like an hovercraft, it does not need the bridge of "like" or "as" to cross the chasm of what is said to what it means

a simile is an old lady with a cane attempting to cross a busy freeway until the neighborhood "like" helps her across

a tortured metaphor is all of the above

The weirdest thing with fans is when they give me, like, paragraphs-long attempts at reasoned arguments that end with "-and that is why you should put [weird thing that particular fan has a fetish for] in the game."

    And I am like
