I asked this earlier, but never got an answer I think: what can be blocked? Is it like dodge, ie not actually good? I've seen blocked text happening on those a3 furnace fire streams, but it doesn't seem to help against arcane beams.
Define "not actually good." It doesn't work against elemental effects, but if you have a decent amount (~50%+) it's pretty good against physical attacks. It stacks additively, not multiplicatively, and is much easier to get than Dodge.
And if you use Punish you get lots of bonuses when you block.
It's probably not useful for anyone besides Crusaders, but that's kind of a statement on shields in general.
Yeah, if it doesn't work against elemental stuff (though I'd almost swear I've seen it block some of those) it's kind of shitty by itself. I mean dodge is, and block is capped too. Well, stacking armor/resists helps with the cap but still.
Punish bonuses and and some of the other stuff (like heal on block, the cooldown reduction shield) might make block kind of useful for crusader, but still.. so much it doesn't work against. Crusaders definitely feel really squishy.
It definitely works against some elemental stuff. You can block the lightning bolts from Electric mobs, for example, as well as Desecrator pools and Molten fire-on-the-ground. Orbiter, Thunderstorm, Frozen, Arcane beams, and Plagued bad-on-the-ground don't seem to be blockable but I'm not entirely certain. Really, really wish Diablo III had a combat log so my unemployed self could do some serious parsing and find out.
I just want them to add friend and clan trading for friends/clans you've been associated to for more than a week. Should make any gold selling etc. a real PITA, which is really all you need to do.
Probably selling farming services too. $/hour to farm legendary items for you.
They can't even scam you to take your stuff because its all BoA, heh.

I'm reading that they fixed caches so their drops are set to the difficulty from which they were generated
Any other changes?
is there a source compiling all of the fixes? This thread, the SE thread, and SA's thread have been the only decent sources for general changes I've found
hmm there might not be a good single source yet
just read it on the bnet forums
also apparently sweeping winds snapshots mythic rhythm. that dmg buff!
I was hoping this was the case, but couldn't really get any definitive answers. Now if they'd just give some buff/visual cue when mythic rhythm procs.
Also I had the worst luck in a neph rift. Finished the first stage at 98% procced the guardian within shouting range of like 6 different groups of champs, and it was tyreal's lieutenant with all his frosting, AND Syphon than joined my game in the midst of all this madness.
This is how I know Wizards are fucking broken: I had more or less the same thing happen to me two days ago, and I just dropped hydra and ran around in a big circle, occasionally sweeping the fucking riot that was chasing me with Disintegrate in order to get the Intensify bonus and casting Spectral Blade to grab the bubble from Barrier Blades.
I have been blowing all my blood shards on 1h weapons because I haven't found any good ones, and I've gotten nothing but crap. Well I hate you too, bitch.

Hmm, so if I can snapshot tempest rush and sweeping wind with Mythic Rhythm, I think I'm gonna try something out with that, epiphany, and running like a madman with my Flying Dragon.
Yeah, got the chance to play this game on a connection that wasn't satellite and with a decent computer available. Really wish they had the new loot system at release instead of the garbage they gave us. It made the game so much more enjoyable to be able to count on getting decent upgrades so that lower difficulty setting weren't painful because of shitty RNG drops.
My only two complaints at this point are:
1) Really wish there was an option to have a setting where one could get smaller maps, but have more dungeons or zones to go through in exchange. Don't like how if one is running tight on time, the only options for large zones are either to try and focus on getting objectives done, clear part of it or log off. I'd be fine if the trade of was being stuck with that setting until one either complete the campaign mode, restarts at the beginning or joining someone else's game.
2) Better control over minions and followers. Gets annoying when the damn things aggro on a treasure goblin, when one is not in a position to go after it quite yet. Minions and followers should only touch things like that if the player starts attacking them. Would also be nice to tell them not to attack something that is spawning mobs because you have to time to wait and see if it'll spawn elites or a champion to kill.
I actually like fist of heaven more than the beam one people tend to run in secondary. Fist does less damage, but it spreads easier and has 10 resource less cost.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
I'm not a fan of the Heaven's Fury rune at all. When I tried it, I found it hard to aim and not as much damage as I would hope for from 40 wrath. Other people seem to be doing good with it, but that was my personal feelings.
To me, FotH just seems to have more damage potential, even though the listed damage isn't as high.
Well fist with the explosion rune (second to last) spreads pretty good, and it hits a lot more mobs than heaven's fury. Heaven's fury is really targetted and easy to miss with, at least in my experience.

The problem with that is botters/sellers will set up farm clans/friends lists. People will add their names to them and then be able to buy gear from them after a waiting period.
There is no foolproof method to prevent sellers (as people will bot and sell accounts), and I think trying to shut down the practice completely is no longer relevant in a post AH world. At this point, let the people who want to buy gear do it, I couldn't care less. I just want to trade items with my clanmates, and not being able to sucks

Does Tempest Rush proc mysticism? I was doing some testing last week with that, and checking my SSS damage, and it definitely didn't look 40% higher.
Though momentum absolutely delivers.

Only spirit generators can proc Mythic Rhythm, if that's what you mean?
From what I've been reading on the forums, Mythic Rhythm works with Tempest Rush. These posts are from just a few hours ago, but I'll have to do some testing when I get home. I really want to switch up my monk's current setup and I feel like I should be able to do a lot more damage then what I'm currently doing. I just need to figure out how much spirit regen I'm going to need to do a constant TR.
I actually like fist of heaven more than the beam one people tend to run in secondary. Fist does less damage, but it spreads easier and has 10 resource less cost.
Fist of the Heavens is 250% weapon damage for 30 wrath in a tiny radius and 210% weapon damage a sparks hits something. Its probably the most resource inefficient AoE spell in the game. Its extremely disappointing.
Fires of Heaven is 950% weapon damage for 40 wrath, which is the most wrath efficient spender by a mile. Combined with Shield Glare (runed) and Taunt for wrath gen you can put out a hilarious amount of burst damage.
The only problem with Fires of Heaven is that it is very buggy right now with gaps in terrain and stairs.

Heaven's Fury is undoubtedly the best single target, but that's really what it's for. I don't bother taking an AoE wrath spender because Punish with Roar + Condemn is plenty of AoE (especially now that I have a Defender of Westmarch).

In theory, Sacred Shield is very efficient if every block hits a target that matters (like if you're fighting just a pack of elites), but it's not as good single target and sometimes flies off to hit breakable objects instead of mobs.
Wouldn't it be better to have judgement with crit over shield glare?
Thats in the build. Shield Glare with the wrath gen rune gives 9 wrath per mob hit, on a 12 second cooldown. With it you can go to down on packs of mobs, instantly fill back to max wrath on the next pack. For bosses I would switch it to Taunt for similar wrath gen single target.
Build generally looks like
1. Holy damage generator
2. Fires of Heaven
3. Judgement - 80% crit
4. Laws of Valor - 100% crit damage
5. Shield Glare - 9 wrath per enemy hit. Switch to Taunt on single target bosses.
6. Another cooldown - Bombardment/Akarat/Taunt/Condemn. All of them could work.

Gathered around 450 shards and was tired of not getting upgrades for my helm, gloves, shoulders and chest so i decided to go gambling. Chest pieces didn't get me anything in a full inventory of them, then the others netted me a Magefist, Profane Pauldrons and Leoric's Crown
I get that i was incredibly lucky but most of the stat rolls were actually crap
Man, how does any Crusader NOT take the law that gives you basically 100% uptime on nephalem glory? I guess maybe it might not be best solo, but it's ridiculously spammy with the globes with someone else in the party that can attack quickly. So good.

The damage from nephalem glory doesn't seem to scale, or doesn't scale very well. Right now the main bonus from glory seems to be 10% movement speed, which is decent.

Because the other rune for that law is 100% crit damage when you pop it, which can make for some incredible combos with the Judgment rune that gives +80% crit chance.

Maybe work that weapon damage to crit damage, though mystic-ing rings is pointlessly expensive.
