Tell me another show that has BD Wong, Ice-T, and Christopher Meloni and I'll watch it.
Until then I'll keep watching it and have nightmares of the "DUNH DUNH" scene change sound.
I used to have that dramatic confession music on my phone and Id play it when ordering pizza with my buddies. Id get all intense. Thats right pepperoni. STUFFED crust.

speaking of Christopher Meloni, fella popped up in Veep this season and has been pretty funny
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

HBO's Oz has Wong and Meloni. No Ice-T, but it does have J.K. Simmons.

I almost don't want to keep going because the other two seasons are so divisive
You should keep going. It's not a nosedive in quality, season 2 is still pretty great except for Something Stupid, season 3 is turbulent but still enjoyable.
Hmmm. I've been super digging Fargo all the way along so far, but I wasn't super comfy with some of the things that happened in this recent ep.
Right up to the fish thing I was down with what they were doing. Like, the shootout? Okay, I can live with that, I could suspend my belief. The snow battle where everyone happens to cross paths and Molly gets hurt? Yeah, I could follow that too. But then when they did the part with the fish...
It felt like one too many coincidences in the same episode. I feel like they earned what happened in the other two plotlines, mostly. But with this part added on in the same episode, it felt like a little too much. It felt like they were stretching the aesthetic of weird-coincidences-that-end-in-tears a bit too much, y'know?
That was an incredible season finale of The Americans. So much stuff is going to be different next season. Its going to be great.
the next season handling of the center wanting to bring Paige into the fold is going to be pretty good times. That last scene was perfect.
The KGB already started recruiting her. Why do you think they've spent so much time on Pastor Tim?
A KGB operative whose handler is a goddamn preacher. How perfect is that? The FBI and U.S. government all the way up to Ronald Reagan always believed that the church-based anti-nuke, anti-war protest movement had been infiltrated and might even be controlled by the KGB. There was a cold war within the Roman Catholic Church when Pope John Paul II made his hardline anti-communist stance part of his papacy, even after our buddies in the contras continued to rape and murder Catholic nuns, missionaries, and clergy in Latin America.
I digress.
SO ... I could easily see Pastor Tim as being especially situated to recruit her.
One of the most damning elements of their lives and covers that would come up on background investigations in the eighties as a flashing red light on fire is that the Jennings parents are atheists in 1981. Paige being a self-motivated Christian convert would switch that around and make her rather appealing. The peace/anti-nuke movement does dovetail nicely with the international socialist movement. She's halfway towards joining the cause.
I wish I had called my prediction as to Jared so I could say "Ha!" But I'll live.

I can imagine very little that would be less pleasant.
I'm expecting nothing but rainbows and sunshine!

Beware that it is unfinished
Man, Stringer bell is really a piece of shit. I don't know if I was just so in awe of Idris Elba's preformance the first time through, but damn.

I'm pretty happy The Americans will return.

I'm sure this will be a smart decision.

AVClub: "The Americans’ showrunners walk through a terrific season character by character"
Well, my one prediction seemed to not come true.
That aside, I loved the finale; it sets up what could be an absolutely ridiculous (in the best way) Season 3, and I already can't wait.
Soon you'll learn that Allison is the best character on TV.
Coran Attack!
Pffft, like Norm even needs to audition after the greatness of the Sports Show With Norm MacDonald.
