Oh the places you'll go! Now what to do while waiting to get there...

Alright guys.... we've got tabletop games going. We have a thread for games on a plane. There's even it's own place for 3DS and Vita games.

What about good games to play while waiting in line for something? You know we're all going to wait in line at some point or another. Sure, I could always play on a mobile device, tablet, 3DS, or Vita. But what if you want to be social with those around you? What would be a good game for that? Zombie Dice? Love Letter? I'm thinking of purchasing a couple for that purpose and I just want to know what would be good!

Aaaaaaaaaaand go

Zombie Dice and Love Letter are perfect for lines. Cthulu dice also fits into this category. I have also enjoyed Shadow Hunter in line (plays up to six or eight or something and lasts 20-40 minutes). I would also guess that The Resistance and Bang! would work well. Another fund line game that I would like to try is Skulls and Roses (I'm thinking about making a home-made version of this and bringing it--rules on the internet). Summoner Wars and Magic The Gathering are also good, but the downside is that these are only for two people.

I bought We Didn't Play Test This Game there last year, but didn't play with anyone in line. Is that a good game for lines?

I enjoy mixing and matching the mtg decks from the swag bags to play against friends. It's pretty much the only time I play magic anymore.

In addition to the usual physical line games (flux, zombie dice, etc) pass and play mobile games can be fun too. Wife and I like catan and ticket to ride on our tablet for this.

Zombie Dice and Cthulhu Dice are great. I saw a few hands of Cards Against Humanity being played in line last year, but I think that only works if you don't have a very big set - we have the Bigger Blacker Box almost full, so it wouldn't be feasible to carry it around.

I had a lot of fun in Pictochat with nearby strangers last year. Not technically a game, but still great for lines. Works particularly well if your line is in a queue room.
