I am not against replay per se and MLB has done a lot right, but I think they went way way way way too far by allowing manager challenges. It happens basically every game and on matters that used to rightly be judgement calls.
I would prefer all review to be initialized by their New York office
They should initialize everything from central review office, but that would mean they'd need to buy more than one television and hire more than two people to staff it.
As it stands now, you're pretty much fucked if you're playing during a cluster of ten other games, or on the west coast when it's past whatever octogenarian's bedtime that's supposed to be watching the monitor.
I'm beginning to think this is all part of the plan to make it as horrible as possible, so MLB can just throw up it's hands and say "Shrug, we tried!" and get rid of it as soon as possible.

The control room has multiple TVs, I thought. I thought they used MLBAM's setup for MLB TV, which is a whole control room, isn't it?
now every single time there's a close play at 1st, the game stops
you'd have that every now and then before. but before it was usually only if it was blatant
i've seen a manager sprint to the field to stall on every single close 1st base play to wait for the bench coach to give them a signal, when the replays show they were beat soundly
just cut that shit out. every morning, you go to time square, you recruit 10 dudes, put them in front of TVs and tell them to mash the button if its close. problem solved

How has replay been bad?
I was being a tad sarcastic with the one monitor thing Goose. But the manager challenge thing is dumb and they've botched easy calls because they don't always get the correct angles from the home stadium camera.

yep, I watched that happen.
It's not like the ump was bad either. I mean, he was very bad and his strike zone was awful, but the Jays relievers weren't missing close pitches, they were just throwing terrible pitches.
The Twins 2014 strategy of standing at the plate watching pitches until you're out or you've walked really payed off.

The Mets have traded 1B Ike Davis to the Pirates in exchange for minor league pitcher Zach Thornton, who they could have picked in the Rule 5 draft according to Twitter. Lol Mets.
I hope someone in your league picked up Harang. Dude has a 0.70 ERA now.

My offense has been bonkers the past 2 days but I fully expect them to totally go quiet tomorrow and blow the week for me again. And my pitching has not been too great so far.

Now that I have Chavez I may be dealing a pitcher in the future. Feldman, Straily, Quintana are on the block.

That trade was too one sided for me so I figured I'd come up with something more even.
