Have we ever seen Anne's friends other than Galahad?

She is almost always in great comics. Looking forward to this one.

I also think we might have been seeing her less lately because G&T have their own kids to occupy that spot of young and innocent that she filled in prior.

Glorious writing here. "Rad" is the best of all possible responses to that, and I keep re-reading and re-laughing at the reincarnation line.

I love how Annarchy has Merch on her shirt and her friend has the Flesh Ripper. Way to show personality.

PipeFour would indicate Ann's last appearances in the comic were in summer of 2011: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2011/07/22 I think you're probably right about Mike and Jerry's real-life kids taking over her original role in the comic...but now that she's reappeared it's a little jarring to see how much older she looks compared to her first appearances.

I love the entitled, bitter, jaundiced tone you used to inform everyone that you are being critical of the strip. Way to demonstrate your jagged, scarred, apocalytpic inner landscape for everyone.

@streever I am pretty certain Redthirst's post was completely sincere appreciation of the comic rather than criticism. I am entirely certain that your reaction is totally uncalled for regardless and is the behavior of an inexpressibly silly goose.

I want to know more about the Goddess of Cats. How did she die the first three times? Did the cats bring her back, or were they the cause of her deaths? Is Bex doomed to the same fate?

    What's the story there?

Having personally received the response "rad" to a confession of love, it is pretty much the worst. I feel for you, buddy.

And it seems like all is dying, and would leave the world to mourn

@Gaslight Well, Gabe and Tycho have gradually shown the growth of their children over the years, from toddler to young children. I guess it's not unreasonable to expect that 10-13 year old Annarchy is now 15-18 and getting deeper into nerdy stuff like DnD?

To me, at least, that "rad" says "I'm not actually listening to you at all, but for the sake of maintaining the pretense, here's a quick generic response so I can get right back into my monologue."

I hope this means the PAX East create-a-strip gets to determine the outcome of this little arc.

Oh, Galahad. You're wasting your time buddy. Once they've flipped that switch to "off," there's no flipping it back again. ;)

No way, it'd be more like this.

"Did you acquire what I asked for?"
"Yes, but I don't understand the need for such a convoluted arrangement just so you coul-"
"Silence. No more words. Just give uncle...the watch."

Could you turn it inside out so it becomes a Merch hoodie?

    Yeah.

I think most of the heterosexual PA males will be living vicariously through Galahad during this little series.

I always feel cheated when they do these. Think of an ending first. Then do it. That'll give it somewhere to go, and the art can fill in the rest.

Yeah, their annual Annarchy series has always been disjointed. :\
