BEST NEW GAME: Lichdom. I had never even heard of this game or this company before East. Loved the way it played as an early alpha. It's got a long, LONG way to go, but it's headed in the right direction.

BEST NEW HARDWARE: There was new hardware? All I saw was the same old tired Shield booth, the Oculus setup which I elected to not try given that it caused a pink eye outbreak in Seattle last year (and because I figure it hadn't changed much since last year), and Microsoft trying to pawn off its XBones. My overall vote is the new Geek Chic table. I guess my technology vote would be to the New England Institute of Technology's hamster ball.

BEST FLOOR EXHIBIT: The Evolve statue. That thing was fierce.

BEST PANEL: Philanthropy in gaming. Got some takeaways for how I/we can improve our 2 annual charity tabletop events in Seattle.

BEST AFTER PARTY: No vote - I was TT'ing

BEST FREE SWAG ITEM: Swag bags this year blew. The pwnmeal was amusing but that's about it. I hear Gearbox gave away copies of their upcoming game for free again this year. So them.

BEST NEW GAME: Couldn't really play anything due to insane lines, but got to play Star Citizen Dog Fighting Module which surprisingly had no line but kinda hidden at the logitech booth, so that wins.

BEST NEW HARDWARE: Oculus Rift Dev Kit 2, I own the first one and it is a major improvement.

BEST FLOOR EXHIBIT: The Evolve monster probably, Still little bitter I didn't have the chance to play it, again due to insane lines

BEST PANEL: It's a three way tie between the Fireaxis, Rooster Teeth and the Royal Rumble. the later two were hilarious and great, and as I CiV and Scifi fan the fireaxis game reveal was amazing

BEST AFTER PARTY: Was to tired to go to any of these.

BEST FREE SWAG ITEM: Again insanely long lines pretty much stopped me from getting very much swag this year, but best thing I got were two large star citizen posters signed by Chris Roberts.

BEST NEW GAME: Elegy. I don't think a lot of people got to see/play it, but it was an indie game that has an excellent premise. Still in alpha, but the guy really listened to what I had to say in terms of improvements and I'm confident that the game will be even better.

BEST NEW HARDWARE: N/a, I want to say that hamster ball thing, but I feel like that's been around for a little while so I'm not sure if it'd count as new.

BEST PANEL: I can't remember the exact title, but it had to do with mythology and video games. It really confirmed a lot of meta about gaming I had thought of in the back of my head, so that was great to see.

BEST AFTER PARTY: No parties for me, my cosplays had me beat.

BEST FREE SWAG ITEM: Got a free SATA cable form Rosewell,. but the Strife plushie was pretty cool, even though I'm not into MOBA games.

BEST NEW GAME: Evolve. They asked those in line who wanted to play as the Goliath and who wanted to play as hunters. Foolish humans, playing as the Goliath, I absolutely decimated those poor hunters.

BEST NEW HARDWARE: Oculus Rift Dev Kit 2, or I guess the NVIDIA shield?

BEST FLOOR EXHIBIT: Gearbox's Moon Base Dome/Evolve's Goliath Statue. Or just 2K in general.

BEST PANEL: GEARBOX. They always show so much love to their fans.

BEST AFTER PARTY: NVIDIA, although only because I had a VIP invite.

BEST FREE SWAG ITEM: Code for Borderlands the Pre-Sequel.
