Not weeks, not months, not years, not even "eh, whenever I feel like it", but never?
That just feels unreasonable to me.
Why?
I mostly enjoyed my experience, but it got very frustrating for me.
Why would I replay content I've already played when there are new things to play, or games that I know I love the whole way through that I could replay?
Because you don't know if you'd enjoy it the whole way through on Casual, because you've neither played it on that difficulty or gone the whole way through.
That being said, I don't actually know how much content you have left, other then the fifteen hours, which could've been spent on one mission for all I know. I guess your position would be much more understandable to me if you were 75% into the game or something.
I was at the time skip and had done every random battle that had popped up
I don't like Fire Emblem's difficulty because when I played it for the first time I found normal too easy and the difficulty above that too hard and I got irritated and stopped playing

That's way more time than I'm willing to repeat!
Okay, I read time skip and thought, "Well, that's easily redoable," since that's not even halfway in but then you said every random battle, which explains a lot. Dunno if this'll affect anything then, but you can easily cut the time you've spent in half at least on Casual, especially considering you wouldn't need the random battles as much.

Yeah, the jump from Normal to Hard in Awakening seems a bit too large.
I (and many other people) have similar problems with the jump from Normal to Classic in XCOM.

I don't want to redo it
Even if the time is cut in half I do not feel the time is need to spend to get back to where I am would be worth it
There are other games to play and ways to spend my time

One day you'll have time to kill and have nothing to do!
Fire Emblem deliberately fucks with you by sometimes having random dudes with Killing Edges and suchlike, who exist only to make you lose an hour of your time.
My problem with perma-death is that it often results in games that aren't actually difficult, just annoying. FE:A is actually super terrible about this, with reinforcements moving the turn they arrive on Hard+ difficulties, and Lunatic and Luna+ being incredibly poorly balanced.
They should just get Hamill to show up as a cameo at the end, saving the youngsters or whatever
Or at the very least have him pull some kind of Patrick-Duffy-steps-out-of-the-shower-it-was-all-a-dream move at the beginning as they actively burn down anything prequel related

I would totally be okay with them doing the cyclical thing of Luke is now the Obi-Wan, serving as an advisor to the new cast
Maybe Leia is in some political position of importance and they need her help with something (but good GOD no emphasis on actual politics)
And they just talk about Han but he died on a crazy adventure years ago
I'm aware the EU probably contradicts this but they're throwing all that out for the movies so anything's possible

Unless I lose my job and my girlfriend leaves me I guess
awakening hard is relatively easy compared to other fire emblems(FE6....), but the switch to same turn reinforcements probably messed a lot of people up. it doesn't belong in fire emblem, the game is all about giving you everything you need to ensure your characters will not die with sound strategy. then all of a sudden NOPE SURPRISE you died. it also highly favors some characters over others. they were not as big of a problem in 6 because the maps were larger, in awakening the maps are tiny to a point where flying reinforcements can reach 2/3s of the map. thus the solution is to tank your way through the maps so someone like libra is much better than lissa, because he can actually take a few hits.
i guess to be fair though singular pawns are sort of useless. what makes them strong is when you use them in combination and create a chain of support down the board with them

I know I'm pretty much in the minority here
But I have no interest in watching a 70 year old Ford sleep his way through a Star Wars movie daydreaming about Disney money
Listen, if the guy shooting me doesn't have a mic
how else will I know he's so high right now, you guys?
These are the only possible solutions to this communication problem.
I'd be fine with Luke and Leia in the new movies
I don't need to see Han Solo get old
Nor do I want to
In part because Harrison Ford doesn't give a shit about anything anymore, ESPECIALLY Star Wars, so he would phone it in so hard
And because that's just a character I don't want to see as an old man

I thought he was Snoop Lion now?
I have lots of hopes for the new movies, but I think the new Star Trek movies are not good, so I probably won't like these either
If he releases another rap album, he's Snoop Dogg
the rastafarian council came down on him saying that smoking weed and listening to reggae do not make you a rasta

No, no I'm right there with you.
I still have 100% faith in Mark Hamill's and Carrie Fisher's ability to care, but Ford? He's done.
Uh-oh I accidentally deleted my signature. Uh-oh!!
pretty definitely.
Air Force One? Was Thor's brother a kid in there or something?
Also that's basically the last great Harrison Ford movie.
I will be shocked if one of the original cast doesn't bite it by the end of Ep 7

Stupid movie poster. Bet it has an Elo of 850.
