Whenever anyone brings up Band of Horses, I can only think of Lollapalooza 2009. Lou Reed just would not get off the stage and Band of Horses was so pissed that they couldn't start their set on the adjacent stage.
Sali, you will have opinions.
but this is my current earworm.
i haven't listened to these guys beyond this song, so i can't pick out the main singers, but i can tell you the spotlight dancers -- 's a good routine!
also, i am digging SNSD's "I Got A Boy", i'm guessing in much the same way that i liked "Starships."
I don't really like SNSD myself. I don't feel like they have any personality or depth. Exo's song History was popular the last year I was in Korea and I got kinda into it, though! 으으렁 is catchy as hell.
My jams these days are all the new 2NE1 stuff (unsurprisingly). I liked Come Back Home more at first

I think they're doing the ost for Avengers 2

in other groove news, I couldn't quite get into w h o k i l l
but I've had tune-yards' Water Fountain on repeat for like a day now, it's so dang catchy
Dunno if you dudes will know but I've been digging heavy bass electronic whatsit music, good example being "Turn down for what" and no, I'm not sorry, that video rules.
But I don't know what that kind of music is called or how to find more of it and I'm bumbling around looking but if anyone could offer me a clue I'd appreciate it.
They're at a weird place for me, where I can only listen to them in small doses, like... A song at a time. If I try to listen to the entire album I lose interest, for some reason.
I'm afraid of thumbs upping too much instrumental music on my vampire weekend pandora station because I don't want to only end up with instrumental music but it keeps playing great instrumental music at me.

But I adore each and every song.
I listen to truly disgusting amounts of The Hold Steady. I have a Spotify playlist that's just every single album, in order. It's like 4.5 hours long. I listen to it most Saturdays.

Has anybody listened to the Jason Molina tribute album? I'm listening to it right now and so far it's surprisingly good.

It's trials, not BMX, and Danny MacAskill is basically the king of the sport:
HEY!
That band in the OP? The Features?
They're going to start getting some radio time (thanks to yours truly).
Tell your friends, they're about to become a thing.
(The band The Weeks are too, so talk about them as well.)
Good. They're great.
Although I still like The Wilderness a lot more than their newer self-titled.
Here is The Rural Alberta Advantage, which I know you will all enjoy,
the opening bands I also quite liked
my friend just showed me these dudes and I quite like it
i've lost count
I messaged our resident design genius this one the other day to see if I could make his brain leak out his ears:
face strainer? pace grader?? it's a treasure trove

He does a lot of stuff in Major Lazer that you might enjoy, like Bubble Butt.

Nah, you're doing it right.

I like The Hold Steady's similar rumination, but as applied to art and paying bills
