I turned off my auto page refreshers for the weekend and didn't even bother to reset them until 9:50 this morning. I guess I'll leave them up now, just in case, but they won't do me any good as I have to be at work at 4 am tomorrow and Wednesday. Oh well, at least the cats will know if badges go on sale.

As far as continuing being here, there are loads of community events that get planned on the forums between now and PAX. They will usually get started once registration happens. You should stick around for those! Also there's a lot of other sections on the PA forums for discussing all sorts of other stuff.
At least I'm off today so I can sit here and watch The Wire and do some housework and keep the PAX site within view all day. It just sucks because it's a lovely day...Chances are tickets won't go on sale after 3pm so I'll have enough time to get some chores done.
This is literally what I did before I got my new job. I finished the wire during weeks one and two.
Yeah I started it about a year ago and now that I completely finished Curb Your Enthusiasm I'm back into The Wire. Nearly done with season 3 right now. Thank goodness for dual monitor setups so I can hawkeye the crap out of the PAX site.

yeah I'm not sure how that went exactly, but there are definitely ways to have fun during paxtimes with paxers without going in to badge-controlled areas.

For all of you newcomers to PAX, I highly recommend what Zerzhul said. Part of what makes PAX so great is the community, so getting involved in a community-driven event is amazing. I hope the Thursday night board game charity event continues forever and I will go to it every time it's held. I lurked for 2 years before finally making a forum account. I recommend against that, too ;-)
Also, wtf guys, I even got stuck in my car for 30 minutes during a torrential downpour and STILL no tickets?
