Found an interesting series of videos on YouTube that closely examines SSBM characters, and where many different aspects of their attacks, abilities, movements, and gestures came from in the characters' respective histories.

Give it a go, you might learn a few trivia tidbits about your favorite.

Thought it might provoke some interesting discussion, but if a mod doesn't think this is fit... well, I don't have to tell them what to do.

While it's interesting and all it's just the one guy's thoughts on where moves came from for some of the more esoteric characters.

He doesn't point out that some of history behind Fox, Falco, and Captain Falcon's moves that I would expect (old Nintendo Power comics featured Captain Falcon, as well as some Star Fox stories).

Yeah. Some of the videos are nice, but they could be a lot better.

I've watched a lot of them, but seeing as how I play a lot of nintendo games, and SSBM is a game I spent hours upon hours playing at a time... I didn't learn anything new.

Cool vids, sort of drawn out though.

Wait, Captain Falcon was in a Nintendo Power comic? When was this?

I care less about the history and more about the ass-kickings I give while playing as Link.
