Is there a way to reset skill tree choices? I saw you can reset within trees... but I had to reroll from misclicking at level 5 .
Was kind of a waste to do that, once you're Level 10 you can freely swap out trees. Though they need to be leveled(from 10)
Whoops. I might have done the same thing (and already had deleted my guy who was in the guild to start over). Not a huge deal, but if I could get my new guy back in the guild that'd be great. New character's name is Qasadir (again, old guy is deleted, so I'm not trying to clog up the works with alts, I swear!).

(Got BOTP'ed):
What are some good early level sorcerer combos to play with? Sorcery itself seems pretty strong by itself, but I would imagine it blends well with Witchcraft and Occult?
I'm liking spellsinger myself (Shadow/song) Shadow gives you a leepback that makes your fireballs instant for a couple of casts and stealth at 25. Song has a move speed song (can play on mounts!) and a stun/fear combo that's nice. Like you said sorc is strong on it's own so I like the utility of the other two.

Perhaps it is not the location of the question on the page, but the question itself.
I'm just sayin', this forum in particular has several systems in place to ensure every single post gets read. If your question isn't answered, posting it a second time within a minute isn't going to help anyone.

We all read it. Someone who knows will answer.
It is entirely possible no one here knows.
Big picture, my friend.
I've been on these forums for eight years man, I have 25k posts. I know how they work, and I also know questions that get page bottomed regularly get missed. You can lecture me some more if you want, but I didn't think moving my question over a page required this lengthy of a discourse.
First quest of the game and already bugged and won't complete... not a good sign
I had a couple problems with bugged quests in beta that seem to be related to server load from what I could tell. I just abandoned and then it fixed it. Not sure if it'll work, but worth a shot.
Haven't had any trouble with it on the alpha server though.
I believe I had two. Only one I really remember though was early on and involved searching a specific location, but every time I searched it with the F key nothing would happen. The progress bar would show, but it wouldn't actually give me the quest item afterwards. After I abandoned it, it worked fine.
I think it was a quest by the Eye of Day in the Firran starting zone. It was a small pond/lake area.
Just made my character on the beta server. Named Oggie once again.

Just got our second boat in the guild under Glina's (spelling not guaranteed) name, Mine should be made sometime tonight or tomorrow! The Merchwater fleet shall become terror of the high seas!
Hey, any of you guys around to invite my new guy back into the guild? Name's Qasadir.
Just made it to the next zone (am level 12 right now). I have no clue what I'm doing, but I just planted some potatoes and am feeling pretty proud of myself. :P
Vita/Aura/Def might be the most brutal leveling spec you can pick, post patch 1.2. I'd recommend Battle/Vita/Aura or Arch/Vita/Aura if you have your heart set on leveling Vita/Aura pre-50. Are you solo leveling, or with a group?
Anyone have opinions on abolisher? I am running around as one at 11 but the auramancy tree seems pretty lackluster atm.
I'm loving it, but I'm running a dual sword with the parry passive to give me some ranged protection. Aura is pretty much there for some really good magic mitigation and the 7% damage to health passive.
That's what I'm running at level 33 currently. Picked up dual swords for the increase in dps and for the ability to parry ranged with the passive (really helps when fighting ranged physical, AKA Primevals). My damage seems good, and I can survive some pretty harsh punishment. Trying to mostly focus on making a decent pvp build while avoiding shields, just as a personal preference.

I stumbled into Argent trying out the Harani start.
Oh my god, I just trip everything over and over and over. And then kick em while they're down. And repeat. I don't even have any of the healing shenanigans available to me at all - it's just charge>triple>kick>mirror light>triple>kick and it's over. Level 15 adds another trip combo in battlerage that comes with defense buffs... and all three trees give inspired stacks... which buff all three trees... .
I'm battle/vit/witchcraft at the moment, but I mostly use battlerage. For leveling my guess is you just want straight damage mostly. Things die fairly fast with battlerage's knockdown combo.
I also discovered kick - it's a "basic" skill, so all classes have it, but it's quick and does triple damage vs. tripped targets, so it gives your knockdown combo a bit of extra boost.

Yeah, and Battlerage's first four skills create two separate knockdown combos. And then vit brings another snare (so another knockdown with triple slash), and triple slash can reset the charge (and thus that combo) quickly... you end up kicking things. A lot.

Pretty much exactly what my build does, but it relies on parries to reset the GCD for the battlerage skills.

Has anyone used Songcraft? It seems really like its really powerful in groups, yet equally boring.
I think you nailed it.

I leveled to 44 vit dif aura.
Was fine. No real issues. you need sword and board or something and board. Mace works wonders @20 but it doesnt matter really.
around level 10-20 you have all the tools- you only need the first 2 skills in VIT, the first 4 in def, 3 of the first 4 in aura(choose which burst you like comet's boon or Vic imp)
Everything in this chain buffs and stacks with the next.
Start a fight with mirror light(vit)-> then use Twart for the buff(aura) -> Conversion shield to buff shield offense(aura) -> Shield slam to daze(def) -> bull rush to knock down(def) -> Kick x 2 on downed opp -> Antithisis(vit) which is fully buffed and has no cast time due to combo.
If its still alive at that point it isnt by much. Simply twart-> comet boon or dump your mettle and use Boastful roar. or if its a 1 star or better mob- hit your mirror light -> antithesis combo on the mob and do the big chain again.
Wash rinse repeat. pretty cake.

@Corehealer - i found theres a few pieces that are a bit more realistic
I'm up to lv21 now. I'm probably gonna bail on this beta and just wait for release - I never like investing time into characters that are just gonna get wiped anyway. I'm already theorycrafting mass PvP setups though.
So as I understand it - if you pay the subscription fee you get twice as many Labor points when you're logged in and you also generate them when you're logged out? I bet you could get by with fewer. I only ran out of them once because I was doing those "self-sufficient" (or whatever they're called) quests.

No one is sitting there going, "one more post before I hit next page? Fuck that guy!"
Actually it happens all the time. It's common for questions that hit the bottom of the page to never get answered. Incredibly common.
