Fuuuuuck those are gorgeous.
Like all the redesigns.
C'mon, CGL, open that pledge manager! I wanna throw more money at you!
[Edit] WOOOOO!
With how big the Pledge Manager is Crowdox wants to monitor with a soft launch to catch any huge errors. So with that in mind. We are going to be doing a soft launch Wednesday with the Full Kerensky's. If they dont break the Pledge Manager horrifically. Then we will give the all clear to launch the Full Pledge Manager on Thursday or Friday of this week! Hurrah!
So between now and then all we have left is one last test involving digital rewards with Crowdox on Tuesday.

I was wondering if you went Full Kerensky... But now we'll know if you purchase anything next week.
This one's technically cheating, since it's a hangar and not a bay, but it's so sexy. Also Xmarx used to sell their stuff through IWM at cons, so there was a chance in my life this could have been an impulse buy. Alas. http://xmarx.com/mh.html
The picture of the hangar with the door closed totally looks like an upside-down laundry basket.

My little hip-firing buddy here is patiently awaiting the arrival of his Flash-In-Motion buddy!
And don't forget kids: Drill and insert those whip antennas!
Aside: God, there's so many 'Mechs coming down the pike. My early efforts to organize & assign them to factions really needs a second pass; the Clan stuff is all a huge jumble, and the IS stuff is just in a massive unassigned limbo-pile.
I can't be the only one with this specific kind of crazy, right?

According to the chatter on the official boards the Khans got access to the pledge manager, and not everything is on fire! There was apparently some weirdness with some people getting multiple (upwards of six) identical email updates regarding the manager, but otherwise it sounds like things are moving!
Also, it doesn't sound like the custom characters are being handled through the pledge manager. No news yet on that front.

MORE WORD FROM THE STREETS:
Levels all the way down to Star Colonel (yay, me!) should be getting pledge manager access today (the 14th)!
Also FYI, the Clan Support Star was renamed to the Pursuit Star.
I can't wait for the Valkyrie redesign. I'll have the Macross Lance after all these years.
Yeah, I am digging the Unseen redesigns a lot, including all the veritechs...
...except the Crusader. Just can't get past the 'cufflink' SRM tubes. Seems a poor substitute for ol' shoulder pods.
I personally like it better. Missile tubes surrounding the wrist make more sense to me than ones built in/near the (probably complicated) shoulder joint, plus then you can Captain Falcon ROCKET PUNCH.
It also aligns with the Phoenix sculpt better, which I appreciate.
Normally I can suppress my "but that wouldn't work well" instincts when it comes to Battletech. You've got to do that to some extent with the whole premise of giant, rideable, humanoid mechs.
Something about that missile cuff, though, just keeps triggering it. Like, where is the ammo stored? How does the reloading mechanism work? Why would you expend all that effort to move the missiles around the arm actuators? How do you avoid damaging the weapon when punching? Etc. I guess an upside would be that aiming non-smart missiles could potentially be easier on the arm?
Anyway, I'm pleased as punch with the vast majority of the redesigns. I'm perfectly content not to like the puffy sleeved look of the Crusader arms if I get the rest of the lot as part of the package.
So, I'm definitely going to need some help when it comes to selecting rewards, on account of having a bunch of picks to spend and not particularly knowing the ins-and-outs of the tabletop game.

One of everything. [/glib]
Barring that, I'm super onboard to help people through this! I'll be taking a look at it in detail once my daughter goes down for her nap in an hour or so.

Aka, Nips will come up with a list that he'll buy off of you.
Dangit, I'm at work and just got the email to confirm my plegde info... Guess it is live? Or just the address? It is really confusing since it says there is a lot of info they need.

GO GO GO GO!!!!
I'll let you all know how it goes, and @Betsuni I'll ping you and update our shared seeeecret spreadsheet with info once I'm done.

Sweet Fucking Kerensky, there's a lot here. More than I remember.
***SITREP INCOMING, SITUATION DEVELOPING***
EDIT 1: Pledge Manage confirms ONLY the following ForcePacks for Wave 1 Shipment: Command Star, Heavy Striker Star, Elemental Star, IS Command Lance, IS Battle Lance, Legendary MechWarriors.
All other 'Mech packs are in Wave 2 shipping. Not unexpected, but I know we were hoping for at least one more Clan Star in Wave 1.
EDIT 2: FYI there's an error in the two Comstar Level II's: The graphic showing what's in each pack is swapped. I'm getting both, but make sure you make your choice by NAME and don't just look at the (placeholder anyway) graphic.
EDIT 3: Aaaaand I've selected all my (non-add-on) packs. Phew. TAKE YOUR TIME HERE PEOPLE! There's a lot of buttons on the screen once you get going, but they're laid out pretty cleanly. FYI, there's a MINIMIZE button in each selection box; HIT THAT after you've made a selection, maybe not to lock it in per-se, but a least to collapse the in-page window for that pack. It tidies up the place real nice.
EDIT 4: OH CRAP, I have to decide how many UrbanMechs to add to my order. All of them? How much for all of the UrbanMechs?
EDIT 4.5: OH CRAP, I'm going to go broke buying UrbanMechs to mod. Potential flavors to mod to: Variant Autocannon, RAC, MRM, ARROW IV, Snub-Nose PPC...crap. I might have to buy just one extra, and magnetize the model, this is getting out of hand....
EDIT 5, THE SHIPPING COST UPDATE: Okay, so let me lay this out for everyone watching: I've made numerous selections across both Wave 1 and Wave 2. I am now at the end of the selection process (managed to keep it down to two extra Urbies, phew), and settling accounts.
I pledged $360 dollars, expecting to cover the Star Colonel tier, some extras, and then some of the shipping.
The Star Colonel tier costs me $260. $100 remain.
I picked up $57 in add-ons. $43 remain. My shipping cost is only marked at $25.47, leaving me with a $17.53 SURPLUS. Ummm, waaat? That shipping looks crazy low to me, for all the crap (especially in Wave 2) that they're sending to me. I just checked the old shipping cost estimates CGL put in one of the updates, and even accounting for optimization, there's no way that's the cost to both waves of shipping.
I'm hesitant to leave a balance on the pledge manager, but I'm ALSO hesitant that this shipping number in the pledge manager is anywhere near correct.
HOLD UP, WAIT. The first shipping number you see is an estimate. You move onto another step to settle the shipping. Give me another minute.
EDIT 6, THE SHIPPING AHA UPDATE: Okay, yeah. Once you put in your ACTUAL shipping info, it gives you choice of shipping in two waves, or holding to ship everything with Wave 2. My "send me two boxes" shipping comes out to $37.17, which means I'm still in the black by $5.83. Time to add another Urbie to the pile!
EDIT 6.5, THE "URBIES ARE COMPACT" UPDATE: Lolololol, adding another $6 Urbie didn't change the shipping cost, so I'm going to have to plug in another 17 cents to complete my transaction. Hi-larious.
EDIT 7, THE "HOLY CRAP I'M DONE" UPDATE: So in the end, CrowdOx apparently doesn't want to charge me for my 17 cents I owe? That's weird. Yay rounding errors? Otherwise, I HAVE COMPLETED THE JOURNEY, FRIENDS! At least, to this step. Now I have to conspire with @Betsuni a bit, and then wait for the inevitable e-mail for our Custom Character info.
I wish they had packs of randomized IS mediums and lights.
I wish they'd bring the Salvage Boxes to retail, and open them up to the entire Kickstarter line. Maybe delineate them Clan vs. IS. I'd lose so much more pocket change to those if they were an impulse buy at the LGS counter.

You should suggest this. Heck, I'm surprised they aren't going to do this just to make money...
Yeah, wonder if I should set up a date and time to chat with you @Nips via discord or something to make this easier. Hahahaha.

HOORAY!
The minimum transaction fee for their credit card processing would probably end up with them losing money if they actually charged you the 17 cents.
I'm pretty exhausted today, so I think I'm going to wait and tackle the pledge manager tomorrow. Still exciting though!
So wtf. The digital stuff at the end of the add ins that doesn't cost anything and are included with the pledges. Are we supposed to add those things if we want to get them?
And I'm noticing the die cut standees that we get for free are only the mechs released in wave 1.

So, uh, I missed the kickstarter but I seem to recall hearing about a thing for latecomers to buy-in. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess I missed the cut-off for that too, huh?

Don't think so. They just made their system live for the backers and it is trickling out.

Yeah, that part confused me too. I think it all showed up in the Add Ons section in case you wanted to buy an extra copy of any of it? As if that made any sense? I dunno man, I didn't show up for any of that.
[Edit] Okay yeah, deffo that, and in case you wanted something that wasn't included in your tier as a freebie:
Digital Rewards. These are the items we gave away as stretch goals for the most part. You can note: we even told you at what levels they were awarded. So if you are "NAME" and above... you are already getting that reward. We don't see a reason to need two of any of these... but we leave it in your hands.
So I went through and it turns out I definitely want 6 packs, and would optionally like maybe up to 4 more. Which puts me squarely in between Bloodnamed and Star Colonel.
SO Anybody wanna either buy up to 3 packs from me, and or let me buy some packs from them?
e: also willing to buy a canon character if somebody has one that they just genuinely do not want (and also ASSUMING we'll be able to band those together by unit)
