Other than in-game economy reasons, I would assume there are inherently more time intensive Customer Service issues that CREDD will generate than normal subscription/billing issues.

I recall someone making an exiles guild website and posting it much earlier in this thread. Is there any activity on such site's forum, as wading through 10-15 pages daily on this one is terribly inefficient as far as a means of focused communication. If so, what is the link/location of said site and forum?

We have the forum that @Anon the Felon set up some time back. It isn't seeing any use at the moment, maybe one day in the future when we need to start coordinating things.
I imagine CREDD being $5 more than a sub cost is to encourage subs, as a recurring sub is more likely to generate consistent income than several a la carte purchases. Since the sub is opt-out, if you forget to cancel and it rolls over to a new month that's money in the bank; if you forget to buy CREDD one month they can't dip into your account and take it.

4 posts. Some of which were made by tumbleweeds rolling through I believe. Gonna go ahead and call it, we need to collectively make a departure from this enormous thread into a form that is more manageable and will allow for multiple threads of discussion on a variety of topics pertaining to the guilds and the game. Rather than this... whatever this is. It was all well and good when it was beta or down time and it was all hype talk and anticipation. But people got shit to talk about now.

Well, Architects were probably never going to have to pay subs again.
Man i didn't spend any money between levels 1-15, zero, because i'd heard that first mount was expensive and i wanted to be able to buy it as soon as i dinged. i hit 15 go to buy it and..,.10 gold..up until this point i have made 2.5 gold. fuck. Onto plan b. blow my 2.5 gold on housing crap

Apparently dying in PVP is counting towards the inactivity timer and couple of deaths equals a boot?
thats interesting, i was definitely pvping more than a normal person should, but wasn't getting inactivity boots. Of course my deaths averaged between 0 and 3 per match

I hit 15 with 22gold....
I'm not sure how you could have so little.
I can only assume where i went wrong was salvaging everything and never vendoring anything ever? i dunno

Oh that was probably a mistake yes... I vendored all the gear. And then sold a bunch of tradeskill stuff and amps I had collected on the auction house once I got to the main city.

Ore is abundant and you can buy cores from the vendor. It's actually profitable to just buy the core and sell the weapon.
The only reason to salvage is for tech tree achievements and you because sometimes you can get random goodies like rune fragments or better power cores.
At least for weaponsmithing/mining, getting crafting experience is at the worst a slight loss to my wallet (due to being unable to sell weapons consumed by the daily quests). Is there a UI mod that removes the Salvage button entirely? Also, I don't see a suggestion to vendor items over salvaging in the OP.

Someone filled my buy order for the Kinetic Drive amp on the exchange for 32 gold. Woo. Sellers were putting it up for 2 plat.
Now the most obnoxiously useful Warrior amp is out of the way.

Ugh, grimvault is hell of a slog when you are same or 1 level below most of the mobs. I wonder if I missed anything in Malgrave, headed to grimvault the moment I hit 45 since I had not notifications of places to go (did lopp village, murder bad dudes, secure walkers moonshine monopoly, protostar, and more murder bad dudes with best lopp ever, aaand lopp heist). Not sure if there was anything else.
For all their talk about HARDCORE, they sure aren't hardcore with breaking stuns. I have to wait until the knockdown animation is done before I can do a dodge to get up again.
I'm way faster than that, Carbine.

Oh cool, the tanking stalker claws drop in War of the Wilds.
I think the biggest problem with the current difficulty is that it's more likely to favour fucking you over than not. The telegraphs all seem to hit slightly larger than the area shown and more often than not a last second dodge gives you the hit anyway. Maybe it's just my ping problems (olol 200ms in a game all about split second dodging) but I've heard most people talk about this.
That and people being stupid, but people are always stupid. There just seems to be a lot of "Dodge this/stun now or you're fucked" mechanics which don't work well when the game is slanted against you in those moments when you're not really sure if you got there or not.

Let's not go spouting hyperbole now. You haven't heard "most people" having the same issue that you're having with 200ms. Personally, I haven't experienced any issues with getting hit while outside of a telegraph, other than once or twice last night when I was streaming HD Giant Bomb E3 coverage at the same time. There's no way the telegraphs hitting you while you see yourself as having made it is intentional. 200ms is pretty bad though. The dodging for me seems as responsive as anything I remember. Although I've never liked double tapping my movement key to dodge.
I would like to state that, up until you start doing veterans, as a tank you can get by with a good support weapon and mostly nothing on your gear but grit, armor and tech. When you start running Sanctuary of the sword maiden to gear up for vets you're going to want to start stacking deflect critical to become crit immune asap
Tbh I would skip sots and just do vet adventures to gear up. Vet war of the wild was the goto once you hit 50 but unsure since change. Still do adventures first to gear up for vet dungeons just my 2 cents.
I had no problem with dodging in GW2, which has the same ping problems as Wildstar. I'm not saying everyone has it as bad as us down here, but most people I've asked have said the dodging is a little weird. Maybe I need to ask more people, but it's a pain in the ass playing dodge the red when your dodge doesn't do as much as you think it does, and the red telegraph is actually bigger than it looks on your screen.

And pretty much pointless unless you are an outfitter or tailor. And even then its probably not worth it.
Salvaging heavy armor and weapons can be useful for weaponsmithing because it can yield cores and ore.
The only reason to salvage is for tech tree achievements and you because sometimes you can get random goodies like rune fragments or better power cores.

The idea is solid, but the returns for it right now are worse than vendoring in most cases.

That was mostly due to dodges having invulnerability frames though. At least as far as I remember, been a while since I played it.
Yes you were invulnerable for the entire dodge roll.
I have a dps spec, I have a heal spec, and I really need a pvp spec, or else I'm just going to fucking dump healing.
You can buy more specs for elder gems. 400 each, think you can buy two more.
I mean the part where it didn't nail you to the floor for a good while before it let you dodge.
